Early doors, no matter what, oil exploration is a risky business, maybe we'll hit the jackpot on the side track(s), I am not too concerned just now. Par for the course with most of these operations.

Volatility in equities' sentiment has been pretty much continuous in the last 6 weeks yet GGP has been stable and weathered these ups and downs well by any standard. Initially I believed it was inevitable we would fall off the top but pleased that I have been proved wrong. There has to be institutional buying going on to stabilise the SP to this degree and they aren't likely to do a runner like the penny dreadful pumpers and dumpers department. I believe this to be a good omen and reckon this is pretty much the floor for the time being till we get news flow to generate a bit of excitement.

with the recent rises so (hopefully) good news may coincide with rerating of oilies especially given an uptick in USD. On the other hand......... latest USA Covid scare stories but then we've been living through this roller coaster since March so a few more weeks or months won't hurt. IMO the market is suffering from COVID fatigue and that goes for all of us I reckon and say 'whatever'. Anyway as they used to say ' todays news is tomorrow's chip paper' before we were all sanitised and internet junkies.

The 'choice' comes down to the price of electric vehicles, the provision of charging points and the range of vehicles. On all counts it is plainly unrealistic for motorists to consider if they cannot afford the costs so there is little choice in that. When the day comes which no doubt it will when we import cheaper electric vehicles from China which are competitive with petrol/diesel vehicles then personal transportation using fossil fuels will become a thing of the past. That isn't going to happen for alot longer than BoJo 2030 plans. The government will change and policies will change (monthly) with their latest wheezes but you can be sure Joe Public will end up paying either way for the government's Walter Mitty ideologies. The Government of the day will soon find a way of taxing electric chargers at a different rate than domestic supplies of electricity, you can be sure of that.

Thats what we thought about Trumpy and he seems to be holding on till the bitter end wreaking as much havoc as possible in the time he has left I just hope we don't have a drawn out PM election right in the middle of leaving the EU.
