Playingthegods I agree on social media the samba is getting talked up rightly so it gets things done in a slightly different way, but one of our machines can do the same as 20 of samba ll so that's 16,000(approx) outdoes 700,000(of kit approx) better and shortly much faster!!!! I'll have the cheaper quicker faster more accurate one please.

Ok accepting that a newspaper article is accurate this passage attracted my attention.

Another boarding school, Benenden in Kent, has purchased its own rapid Covid-19 testing machine, the Samba II, for £35,000 plus VAT, with test capsules costing £60 each. The school nurse is on hand to administer each test, and staff have been trained to operate the machine, allowing everyone in the school to be diagnosed on-site with results available in 90 minutes.

That's headline price of 35k plus 60 per cartridge!! It has good s and s but not as good as ours which is half price for machine and 60 pound as opposed to our 10 a test hmmmm.
