There are pretty much normal/ standardised rules for setting option prices and it appears that SML have followed them. For companies at this stage of growth it's very common to award options and if you want to retain a competent, professional and dynamic BOD's, it's essential. One and Two years is about right given its a mining play, though Three is good too. I guess they will look at issuing further optons later which is sensible.

Yep, no surprises and agree, this won't push the SP forward. They need some big contracts this year if progress is to be made. While losses are accepted given the past performance and development there really needs to be a step up in all the Hydro businesses this year, AFC & Ceres included.

I find it strange that several posters believe that JDW will benefit from a shrinking pub industry. You may be wrong. I think it was a fair assumption 25 years ago, however a shrinking pub industry is just that nowadays, yep. 'a shrinking pub industry'. There were perhaps too many pubs 25 years ago and many were badly operated with poor standards. That's observation is perhaps not the same today.

The government has to do an awful lot more over the next 5 years or so to support the Great British Boozer and if it does not we will lose more than just a watering hole. We will lose the very fabric that bonds millions of us together. I'm not political though I have some comfort when I see Nigel with a pint in his hand. Fingers crossed. I have sent a note to Gabrielle and Ivor regarding the exclusion of UK shareholders from last weeks fund raise. Not expecting a reply however given the history of the share we deserve a response at the very least. Strangely tbe Corporate team at IG whom I wrote too have replied, nearly a week later, suggezting they required details of the find raise. It's on their platform as it appeared as a RNS that day. Plonkers. I was a previous fan of IG but their client services are poor....

They would be somewhat restricted as to what they could say given the situation with the SR, therefore I guess they are better saying nothing until there is further news. The cat us still in the bag!!

Disgraceful. UK investors were excluded from this fund raise. It is NOT acceptable. There are lots of uk investors who still hold shares and are livid. Shame in IG too for not being able to do anything.

Well done Key2. Just what everyone needed to know...NOT. This is another insult to UK SH's who have supported the company through AIM and onto the Main UK Market, only then to br left high n dry for months as we switched to the USA, then to be pushed aside yet again. Shame on the Board.

TheBigShow....sorry...I beg to differ!! ..I don't understand your point here in you stating that the trading update and the strategic review are not independent of each other? They are indeed two very separate events. The trading update confirmed the following,

'The Strategic Review announced on 3 October remains ongoing, and the Board expects to provide an update on or before the publication of the Company's results for the year ended 31 December 2025 in April 2026.'

What more do you want given the reporting rules? In addition, this was an end of year tradng update too and the business is operating and performing at a completely different level to the statement re the strategic review conducted a few years ago. The current trading results are both extremely robust and exciting while the straegic review is being managed by a completely different level of advisor to those that you refer to in the past.

I do not believe any reference to the strategic review should have been handled any differently, however, yes I do agree that it was perhaps not what many short term SH's were seeking.

Well stated Forensic. The trading update and strategic review are two ompletely different things. I'm not sure what some SH's were expecting today. They certainly would not have added a strategic review update to the bottom of the trading statement. The board would want to get the end of year trading update out of the way in the first instance, which they have done so, and what a great performance. Next comes the strategic review and by giving themselves a decent lead time, there is no pressure. Quite normal I would say having both sold and acquired listed companies.

All posters here should respect the actions of ALL investors. Everyone has the right to trade how they feel fit. After all, it's what makes share trading exciting. I hold shares daily, weekly, monthly and long term, depending on market dynamics, news, views etc. Do what you believe is good for you!. I don't trade Boom short term as I believe the best is just around the corner. However, I don't decry traders actions either. Do your own thing and good luck.
