I can't find it in the report Beth, where abouts is the footnote?
Beth, I rather think that you have missed the whole point here. As I posted earlier, don't think crypto but rather think blockchain technology. Like it or not blockchain is the future of investing. StrikeX have great technology and CMC are making a bold move to get ahead of the competition. They will certainly have paid way over 1million , I would hope at least 3 to gain access to the technology of the future. Not everyone has the vision or the courage to lead the way, CMC have done it before and now they are doing it again.
Seriously chaps you need to do a bit of research here to fully understand what this tie up could mean. I guess that you are stock investors and not crypto investors. I was the same just 2 years ago and since then I have been on a very steep learning curve.
Forget the term crypto but instead think blockchain. Blockchain is THE future of investing in the form of tokenised assets and clearly the board of CMC are fully aware of that. Enter Tradestrike/StrikeX, they are at the very cutting edge of this emerging revolution.
Check out their website;
https://tradestrike.io/strikex/
Then download their crypto wallet app, have a play with it and then compare it to Trustwallet and Metamask. They are the 2 market leaders with 10s of millions of users each. The StrikeX wallet is several generations ahead of them.
Next check out their Dex or decentralised exchange.
These are just for starters, they have in the pipeline their flagship main trading platform for tokenised stocks, bonds, precious metals and real estate. A stock token bridge etc, a whole ecosystem.
This tie up will be huge, it will lead the way by a country mile.
I couldn't agree more. I've been in strikeX since the start and I have been blown away by the rapid progress and success of the company. The native utility token is a great way to gain exposure to this success. Th e company and the token have a VERY bright future ahead. This collaboration should be positive for both companies.
Well done to anyone who managed to read all of the RNS. I fell asleep about one third of the way through such was the level of droning pointless waffle. It seems to me that KS has turned out to be a one trick pony who has peaked and is now rapidly sliding downwards. You could say that he managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Offloading lots of these at just over 3p, whilst painful at the time, is starting to make me feel like a genius. Sadly I kept hold of 500k for old times sake, perhaps I aren't a genius after all!
Thanks for sharing Tiggrrr, sounds potentially very positive.
Did anyone manage to find even a small reference to Molopo in that?
I may have to unfilter poor old roger after all.
It's a tough crowd, I guess nothing will please other than mega grades at Molopo. If that isn't going to be the case I just wish they would get on with it to put the sp pain behind us and then people can shift their expectations and move on.
That totally, absolutely, definitely, 100% reflects my view. BOD, stop it, just do nothing because everything you do turns to excrement. Another couple of years and I fear that they will have squandered everything.
Thanks for sharing Van. Andrew, bless him, went the extra mile to provide Kerim with lots of opportunities to talk up Ariana and mitigate the recent news. KS presented as rather less pleased with himself and seemed to be in full damage limitation mode. We will just have to wait a bit longer for the extra jam, it certainly won't be tomorrow but hopefully it will arrive.
Just to add a little bit more miserable old git.
I can't help but think that the remaining £16 million? in th kitty represents many future years of director salaries, business class flights, splendid hotels and rather nice meals out (with drinks of course). I can't see us benefiting from any of that either directly or indirectly via credible investments.
It's a gravy train and you ain't on it!
Van, when you say that the BOD aren't up to the job it really does depend what job you are referring to. If you mean lining their own pockets and feeding the ego of KS then I would suggest that they are managing most ably. If you mean creating shareholder value and looking after shareholders who have stuck by the company, supporting it financially and making success possible for KS then I really don't think that KS gives a fig. He has made a name for himself, made a stack and has a well feathered nest, he no longer needs us.
It's a good job we have a really, really influential majority partner on-board.
Remind me again, what exactly do they bring to the party? I know what they took away with them but what did they bring?
Over to you John : )
My vision for Mtr was akin to it being a distribution hub sitting between the Sandfire nsr and shareholders. The nsr would roll in, gradually increasing in size over time, the bod would skim off enough to pay their salaries and keep the lights on and the rest would flow to shareholders. The share price would gently rise over time, underpinned by the rising value of the Sandfire shares, the rising value of the nsr and the steady increase in yield. Everyone would have been a winner.
illaquens, are you suggesting that the bod have performed well over the last few years? You are happy with the results of their investment activities and pawning a large percentage of the Sandfire shares and wasting the money? Each to their own I guess. Personally, I stayed here for the nsr but I now fear that they will soon be messing that one up.
The best thing that this incompetent bod could have done for the last few years would have been to draw their salaries and just stay at home touching nothing. They just can't leave well alone, they have a compunction to press every big red button and pull every lever.
What level of uselessness does it require to mess up the sweet position Mtr found itself in?
Millions of Sandfire shares, annual dividend and the lucrative nsr to look forward to.
Reading that they plan to activity trade makes me shudder with anxiety. They've co*ked up every single trade they have made so far.
He's a really, really nice chap. Sadly for him though he definitely falls into the category of being totally useless. If he's so worried about there being too many useless people with no "military or economic value " then it would be easy for him to reduce that number by one. I doubt that any sane people would object to him doing that. Then the rest of us could merrily carry on being useless (to the parasite class), mind our own business, leave others alone and simply enjoy our wonderfully varied lives.
I aren't opposed to exploration companies issuing shares and raising funds, if work is to progress then there is no other option for a company that has no income. My only slight concern here is that if the Molopo results are due soon and they are expected to be very positive then why not do a raise at a higher price after their release and minimise dilution?
Thanks for sharing sol, a very honest and solid chat. No airs and graces with PJ, tells it how it is in a down to earth manner.
People are maybe wondering what they are going to waste the spare money on. At least they can now buy back the Sandfire shares from the pawn shop.
