Still nothing on The Gazette or on the cineworld plc website....something is fishy
Currently still no insolvency notices registered on The Gazette. This stock is currently Suspended, not yet delisted.
Just checked and nothing currently registered with the Insolvency Agency on The Gazette
Something seems afoot. Share price has broken 0.42 this morning
@CWWX to be fair to Dean36, there is a section called: Analyst Price Target
Under this section, the status is now Neutral
Whilst I am not qualified to comment on the debate here, I can only comment from my perception of the situation and that is that I suspect (hope) something may come out of all of this for all involved. Beyond the financial transactions/debts, there are peoples lives involved here and also they could be shareholders. Legalities aside, I hope that when they try and proceed with UK administration, they are challenged at every level and end up doing the right thing. That's all I have to say on the subject
Sorry I didn't mean liquidated, I meant into administration
Genuine question, what would happen if the mCap grows due to share price inflation in the last days of trading ? Would it make it more or less difficult for the liquidators to liquidate the company ?
Thanks - it was an interesting article but it also shows the strength of landlords in all of this which I hadn't considered
This article is interesting as it shows that even Landlords are considered to be shareholders. If this action is repeated globally, Cineworld will be in big trouble:

My personal view on this situation is that common sense will prevail
US stock is up 61%

Can anyone let me know what the level of debt was pre-pandemic but after Regal acquisition?
It seems this will bounce back
Is a debt for equity swap better for shareholders than an outright sale can anyone confirm please? Is there dilution in both scenarios?
