pull this off http://uk.news.yahoo.com/virgin-money-linked-rbs-branches-105823557.html could be an earner for QYM, who acted as their advisers re Northern Rock, CVC. I'm Billy no mates here and probably talking to myself so for now better go quietly.....over and out.
in lap of the gods, who knows territory etc although shaping up well (feeling that tingle yet, prof?!) Welcome SJ, panacea and hope the penny materialises.... Now steady on AVCT, you do have class, so let's do this progress thing in a calm, orderly fashion... ah, work hollers so GLA
in the way of sleepless nights with AVCT! Hope the mad fluctuations stay with my oilies and miner - this has held up well this week with volumes increasing; buys up at .85 and sells going through on .83. Not a bad week and even Hybridan's noticed.... http://www.stockopedia.co.uk/content/hybridans-small-cap-wrap-68382/ oh, suddenly it's the weekend...GL all!
That's the one - bit more territory for expansion eh? Now all we need is a big fat, positive 23rd october rns and this COULD be on its way. To be fair, never seems to have been bad news here - even the earlier squillion share placing was for acquisitions - I just spit me dummy out for a day then averaged down. Tactical or desperate...who knows? Anyway all IMVHO.....Rainy day trading - don't you just love it! GL all
news: http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201209240700079151M. May be wrong but, whilst now in profit here, I feel it would be wrong to sell as this is shaping up to be 'a bit special!' GL out there.
the goods for renewables; http://www.4-traders.com/COSTAIN-GROUP-PLC-4001808/news/Costain-Group-PLC-Costain-JV-Secures-Funding-15217993/. Busy bee firm, this.
before that news of this quality : http://www.quaylemunro.com/transactions/sagient-research.html should be released as an rns and not just hidden away on their website. Come on Quayle, shout it from the rooftops!
a bit of a financial battering; http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201209200703016794M, however that's a decent dividend maintained and with restructuring complete and the Scottish interest retained, prospects sound ok. We shall see.GL holders, spectators.
this http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/business/business-news/flagship-device-sales-up-by-50pc-at-avacta-1-4866884 is encouraging. OK it's from last month but pertinent - results 'will meet market expectations', revenues 'grown significantly', 'remains strong', 'done very well', 'encouraging' - seemingly littered with positives. No certainties in this game, sitting on fence, ramp free etc but looking forward to THAT rns. GL holders, spectators
an exciting week for cf holders (all 3 of us). Mr. de Rosnay sprinkling some magic dust....
in the recovery position? Dunno but has been a good week here after VERY lean times, phew! Could be random, or perhaps news imminent - happy whatever. GL all
Doesn't seem to inch up in fractions this one - when it rises.....well they wanted mine for 310 at first, then a minute later 335 so I suppose the mms have to allow for that. Just mho though. What a day! GL
just offered 335 - this share a best kept secret!
wanting them ! Offered 310; on TSX yesterday CF. were flying what with director buying, de Rosnay etc. Ex dividend now so let's see where this goes. GLA
a breather EXI, you've earned it ! Glut of daytrading after results maybe unsettled this and halted steady progress - who knows? Hopefully, normal service etc...GLA
ex Lehman bros....ahem, passing right along. Bags of drive, experience and with a wealth of contacts - market seems to love it! GLA
to Mr de Rosnay: http://business.financialpost.com/2012/09/04/top-global-investment-banker-alexis-de-rosnay-to-head-canaccord-genuity/ New kid on the block comes with a heck of a pedigree - GSK, Lazard, JP Morgan etc. This, together with recent director buying looks promising although DYOR (if there's anyone out there!)
big holding here so delighted with today's news; http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201209030700173108L Sky's the limit with this super efficient outfit and am now typing with shaky fingers (excitement, not sunday's wine!) GL holders, spectators etc
exciting/ nerve shredding is this share? From 85p to 135p in 3 months and all along the way, big fish (Worldview, Credit Suisse) having a nibble; wherever they drill seems SATURATED with oil ; hidden away in today's rns 'in late stages of acquiring another substantial contiguous licence area' for exploration (world domination!). GL all those who have sat tight, oh and all t'others as well!
