Morning old .. you made a comment regarding the above recently .. "I'm not really sure it's right to suggest that the CRUK GBP 20M (?) is either a done deal, nor is it really just cash in our coffers.... I think it's rather a collaboration between acknowledged experts/ companies for "the Common Good", not a cash injection to Scancell for Moditope." Whilst I completely agree that it is as yet a done deal .. it is the only group working on a direct treatment Modi3 .. With Jedd Wolchok, Ira Mellman plus a raft of other experts from a range of fields and companies , how is that not directly an investment in scancells patented platform 'moditope' ? I'm excited about it ! And LD is too !! Up to �30,000 now spent on final applications done , it's just a matter of waiting til November now ... but should they be successful, scancell will get to advance some of its technology with the up to �20M and help of some very big names in immuno oncology ! Just recapping on the recent report of the miracle 1 patient 'study' in breast cancer recently .. Here's a bit more info .. the study started at almost exactly the same time as scib1 went into human trials !! I'm amazed at how the market places no value on the Glycan targeting system scancell now own too ! -- Modified epitopes, (at least 4) -- Uniquely Programmed and finely tuned antibodies (many many potential combinations) -- And the targeting of glycans, All of the above are like locking out say the pd1 / pd-l1 target mechanism ... each !! It's some land grab in my opinion .. only it appears to be currently on the dark side of the planet where only a few souls venture lol .. Just some thoughts as ever ! Take care all ..

Just an observation .. It might not mean anything but it was entitled " a Scancell Company Presentation " at the BIO International Convention in Boston. Not about any specific part of scancell and its 3 platforms but an overview of the whole shebang by the sounds of it !? Banging a the whole drum perhaps ? Take care all ...

I've seen companies raise capital and do deals a matter of weeks afterwards .. it doesn't completely discount anything ? With cash in the bank scancell keep all options open and the ball is kept in their court .. if there are further open offers, I for one will be taking part .. scancell progresses while it's value bobbles along .. that to some could be seen as an opportunity perhaps ? Just having a look at the recent fantastic news about the lady who has been cleared of breast cancer .. no douting it's fantastic news for her and as Inanaco says good for 'immuno oncology' as a whole .. It can work! However .. I've had a look into the 'trial' she was part of and I can find any total patient numbers or much else actually .. I did find this about it though .. "We present a patient with chemorefractory hormone receptor (HR)-positive metastatic breast cancer who was treated with tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) reactive against mutant versions of four proteins�SLC3A2, KIAA0368, CADPS2 and CTSB. Adoptive transfer of these mutant-protein-specific TILs in conjunction with interleukin (IL)-2 and checkpoint blockade mediated the complete durable regression of metastatic breast cancer, which is now ongoing for >22 months, and it represents a new immunotherapy approach for the treatment of these patients." Tot up the costs and associated risks of these treatments ! Liking the excitement about immunotherapy .. but we have seen many stories like that one before .. in tiny numbers of patients .. but this one is extreme !! "British experts described the study as �fascinating and exciting� even though it reported on just one patient." Nomlungu .. have you any more up to date info on protein folding ? Fascinating stuff but those reports were from a few years ago ? Are there any products yet ? Take care all ..
