The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I’m an expert just trust me (which is essentially what you are asking me to do in return). I know more than you. Really I do (it’s a joke incase you don’t understand, none of us know who knows more, you’ve just got the arrogance to assume it’s you). Give it a rest being an expert and stop trying to dictate the narrative here. You post to influence others to do what you want them to. Interesting you’ve jumped in for support immediately .

Some reading about special economic zones. An extract from the article is below
Gagan Gupta, CEO of Arise, a company specialised in designing, financing, building and managing SEZs in Africa, says that there is a lot of opportunity for economic zones in Africa.
“We are currently in Gabon, Benin, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire,” he says. “The next phase of growth we are expanding into the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo to focus on timber. Next, we are going into Senegal to do agriculture and then into Chad to do meat processing.” No mention of Iron ore and instead timber but it shows things can happen.
So are you saying nothin has really changed ? I agree Glencore still call the shots but this move in my opinion shows Glencores position has changed. Perhaps signifying a deal could get done and the mine sold. A for sale sign has been put up as such.
I agree and am in for the ride whatever that may bring. I like the risk reward profile with Zanaga and believe there will be further news in fairly short order. News has been at a premium for years and years as the stumbling block was Glencore In my opinion. Now things are changing and I’m hoping for an early sale.
Thank you. I’ve been reading this from Orosur and for anyone like me who is trying to get a handle of what’s happened until this point and what might be in store in the future I think is very useful .

So what is the likely catalyst to spark a sustained price rise akin to what was seen at ggp. Is it just more and more drill results which proves up what we have in the ground? I watched Brads interview on proactive investors from October 2020 and when asked what he thought we had, he said he wouldn’t make predictions but he would know the answer to this question in a years time. Well we aren’t far off a year now. I know we’ve had delays due to Covid, but when are we likely to know enough to judge more accurately our potential value. I am trying to learn so appreciate any answer I may get. I’ll continue to research the answers out myself of course.
Thanks
Thanks chickenlegs and Wolfy123. I agree, I think news will follow shortly after it’s confirmed loryser are out. Everything looks great here and a lot to look forward to. Newmont taking control can only be a massive positive. I’m sticking around for the long haul so happy to see things unfold as and when they happen.
I’ve been having a read around, am I right in thinking that Loryser have to be out by the 19th of this month ?
Thanks

This little rise feels soo good, what a horrible last few weeks it’s been if you have been paying attention to the share price. Those buys can only be an ii which confirms to me I am in share with excellent prospects. Thanks to those contributing research to this board old and new, even though I know you shouldn’t be influenced by anyone on here at times it’s hard at times. I’m so pleased I didn’t do what the mms and a few posters on here wanted me to do (sell my shares ). Everything all my own opinion. Dyor
I personally trust Guy is working hard to develop this business. The share price is where it is because of what several posters keep mentioning (lack of actual contracts and income), there’s no denying that. Although it’s important, looking at the past doesn’t always mean you can predict the future. I think the next few months have very little to do with the past so I am happy to hold. I think there will be further good news ahead. All the doom and gloom from the past doesn’t necessarily have to repeat. I think a few posters on here should consider the potential upside of contract wins just like they are asking optimistic holders to consider their views, views which are aired repeatedly and are only ever negative. No one knows for sure what will happen.
There were a few bb posters advising others not to buy (strong sell) when the share price was 0.8, incidentally the same bb posters suggesting selling now. No doubt when the share price was at any price were suggesting to sell. Its a bit of a theme.
Such sophisticated methods to try and influence people to sell. Well done
I have followed this company for some time and have been reading this board over the last 8/9 months or so (thank you to everyone sharing research). I have a small holding of 900,000 shares having once held 3 million but tried trading elsewhere and got caught out. I bought back in just prior to suspension and still think I have enough shares to do well, however i should have held a lot more.
I will definitely add on relist but I would also like to know if it’s possible for me to buy shares on the Canadian exchange in XOP ? I apologise if this has been covered before.
Thanks again to some fantastic contributions from many posters ( too many to mention) and I hope we can relist soon.
Be careful, I had a post removed for an unknown reason but suspect as I have a positive outlook someone reported me. I feel this bb is being aggressively played by traders who post purely to get you to act how they want. This company needs to perform better and having that pointed out to an annoyingly boring level is pointless unless there is an agenda to get people to sell. Random bb posters aren’t trying to save you cash they are tying to get you to trade like they are, but you’ll be one step behind. If you have read the company rns’s and are happy to invest don’t let people insult your judgement on a bb. If you don’t want to invest then great, move along and spend your time researching something else. Investing in pretty much any share listed on aim is fraught with danger and this share is no different. But don’t choose to invest or not invest your money based on what anyone says on these boards, myself included. Always questions the frequency and tenacity of posters views and when they may have bought or sold a share. Don’t then let that override your decision to invest or not, always rely on your own judgment.
This RTO is a complete disgrace. I’m not adding anything new but I’m furious with this “deal” . I bought in at 0.6 and never factored in 220/1 dilution as a possibility (way past me worst case scenario) . I’ve voted no to all resolutions albeit with only 300,000 shares. We’ve been had. I hope the RTO doesn’t happen that’s for sure.
The pulled vox market interview still puzzles me. I did hear the original interview but don’t consciously remember January being mentioned for the launch of the open ended fund. It’s been a patient wait but interest if measured by Twitter seems to be increasing again. Let’s hope there is no smoke without fire. I’m holding and therefore firmly believe contracts will be delivered here.
