There's no reason why OldsCool should stop posting because s/he's no longer a holder. The post was quite useful for explaining reasons why they are no longer holding. No one's forcing anyone to agree with their reasoning, it's just another point of view, that's all.

There does seem to be a lot of filtering of people who have salient points to make, but whom fall short of the "we're all going to be millionaires soon!!" narrative which some seem to prefer. I can fully understand filtering the scumbags (step forward Espen35), but a lot of the filtering smacks of fingers in the ears singing la la la. As they say: "there's none so blind as those who will not see". Surely it's better to see all perspectives...even if you don't agree with them and/or they're ultimately proven to be incorrect. It's up to you to then make a balanced judgement. Just my take...

Yes, we desperately need MB to communicate a forward plan to us. Not a "funeral speech" style interview reiterating things that have gone wrong over the past few weeks, of which we know all-too-well. A few questions, which immediately spring to mind:

What is our current and projected financial position / cash runway?

What is the drilling plan for 2025? (Has this changed due to recent issues encountered?)

What is the ramp-up plan for production of Heron 1 to get us to 800+ BOPD?

What are the technical requirements / associated costs for this?

With both of the above - will we see any production increases during winter, or will it only be possible after winter?

Confirmation of why Heron 2 isn't flowing as expected/what is the remedial work required/will it be abandoned?

Confirmation of costs on Heron 2 so far (have we really "saved" £2.5M by not putting it online?)

Is it worth putting it on stream at 30 BOPD or better to abandon?

How much can we save by using the gas from Heron 1 as a fuel? Is this a significant number?

What is the latest we can tolerate waiting for the cooperation agreement before it impacts future plans?

What are you doing to push this agreement through? It's been months.

How long will the customs permit take to get signed off? (It's a known process apparently)

What is the confingency for if the above aren't signed off / take ages longer?

If we don't have enough money for all the drills planned and we don't think that revenue-stream will cover it, what's the contingency plan? Is there one?

Have you approached any parties for JV's / loans / other financing options?

What are the thoughts of Petrovis ref the current sutuation?

Do you have regular comms with Petro China - how supportive are they / any concerns?

When can we expect more news/concrete plans on GOBI-1? If hydrocarbons are there could we drill close to the original site to find the oil?

I33 - You've mentioned the SP rise in Dec 2022 a few times now. Wasn't this mainly due to the "Operational Update" RNS on 5th Dec, rather than any MM shenanigans? I do, of course, hope that regardless of any reason for historical rises we do indeed see the same this year - any reason will do!! 5p and I'm more than done now!!

One thing I think we can all agree on. The CEO needs to do his job - show his face and act to calm the market and try to restore the SP somewhat. The expected "mega bounce" that a lot were prophesying ain't happening and shareholders are clearly nervous that the company has the capability and funds to move forward. A bit of reassurance is surely not too much to ask?

Mike Buck should now be concentrating on how to increase morale/sentiment (and therefore the SP) for shareholders ASAP. Basically letting shareholders and the wider audience be in no doubt that the company is far from finished, despite yesterday's RNS. PC agreement, DQE JV, Investor presentations, Q&A sessions, signing of the new PSCs, update on Sunsteppe, work programme plans for 2025 - all can be a relentless flow of positives for us. More PR to a wider audience wouldn't go amiss too.

Meanwhile, his technical team can be beavering away looking at increasing the flow at H1 - yet another potential positive RNS in the making (or RNSs if they do it incrementally...). They can be looking at solving the issues at H2, any positive updates on Gobi etc.

Basically the days of positive news wrapped in negatives needs to stop. As I said yesterday, we don't need to know about bad weather or broken motors. If it's good news and progress, tell us!!

So the things like the "nodding donkey", tanks etc would have been bought (a large chunk of the $2.5M I would guess) and likely on site at H2 in anticipation of success, but now moth-balled to either use on H3/4 etc...or on H2 providing they can figure out solutions to the low flow. Ok, makes sense.

WRT to the 1000bopd, that is a 22% increase over the 821bopd in earlier tests, so seems a stretch to me, but we could be lucky, so fingers crossed. God knows, we need some good fortune...

A couple of things I'd like clarifying if it's not too much to ask.

I only scan-read the board yesterday but saw lots of references of H1 being able to achieve 1000 bopd. Where has this figure come from? Also, I saw reference to us "saving $2.5M by not putting H2 on line". How does that work?

Surprised its been so flat today, rather that recovering a bit as some others predicted. Anyway, just bought another load, so it can rise any time it likes now please.
