3pm RNS?!

I'm not really fussed whether there's one big RNS or multiple drip-feeds of news. I just hope that whichever way it is, MB doesn't squander the opportunity to be really positive and really sell the company to potential investors big and small. Yes, I know that the facts alone should speak for themselves but you can't beat a CEO sounding positive about their company. This is a transformational period for company as WOS, sorry Gigi, keeps telling us, so let the world know in no uncertain terms, build up the FOMO and help that SP rocket. I've seen too many RNSs from various companies with the positive message literally added at the end as an after thought as if they're embarrassed to celebrate good news..

Hopefully not long now.

Forgot to say: the Zeus note also references "Saiga-1 Exploration" alongside the "Gobi Bear 1" exploration, giving a risked value of +0.3p and unrisked of +3.0p. I must have missed this "Saiga-1" in the RNS's...

Yes, would be good to see it above 10p. Looking at the Zeus analysis, they have the "unrisked" valuation of Gobi at +1.5p to the SP and risked at +14.7p, so if they hit oil it's "hold on to your hats" time!

Yes, my guess is either next week or the week after. I think the meeting may be sorted and MB is just saving up the announcement for one bigger RNS (please no more debates on regulatory requirements for releasing market sensitive news..)

Anyway, as long as he doesn't announce any positive news on the Friday before the Bank Holiday Monday...

You guys may be right with 6p on production, but that would be a bit disappointing given a P&D alone got us to 7p+ last year (or 6p ish taking into account recent dilution). Lets hope some good Marketing / FOMO / Institutions Investing big etc make the SP peak a lot higher, even if it then settles back to the 6p levels after time...then GOBI can hopefully come in big. Either way, only a few weeks to go now....

I'm personally not expecting Gobi news until October/November as it was targeted as late Q3 or Q4 (IIRC)and they've probably got enough going on up until then for timing slippages. However, it would be nice if it was sooner...and a success. What a great end to the year that'd be...

What sort of SP are you expecting us to hit by Christmas, WOS? Just out of interest...

HE1 traded at a low of 0.16p on 24th Jan and hit a high of 3.7p on 5th Feb. So x23 in less than 2 weeks. Based on MATD SP of 2.97 as I type, that would mean going to an SP of circa 68p.

I'd be a very happy man if that happened, but would likely die of shock shortly after. We can all dream though!! In reality a rise to 6.8p over the same timescales would be a welcome start.

Yes. From the last RNS:

The contractor, PetroChina's well completion subsidiary DQE, has mobilised to site along with Petro Matad's team and is preparing to re-enter the well. The work planned involves a reservoir stimulation operation to enhance near wellbore drainage and the installation of the downhole production equipment. These operations are expected to be completed by mid-August.

When the well completion operations are finished, the well site will be prepared for the installation of surface production equipment and this work is expected to start during August. Once the surface equipment has been connected to the Heron-1 well and commissioned, the well will be ready for production start-up.

Anyway, fair play for doing the research into various approaches and strategies on the other markets, and I hope the Nasdaq venture works out for you. I've not done much stock trading, but have done trading on sports markets (still do, but more as a hobby nowadays). I found that learning the theory was far easier than actually putting things into practice - particularly the psychological side - sticking to your plan/strategy rigidly, maintaining a cool head when things don't go to plan etc. I also found it a bit lonely as a full-time "job", staring at a screen and analysing data for hours. That said, when things went right it was quite rewarding and if you have an affinity for the analysis side then obviously that would be a bonus for you, not a hinderence.

....these are also phrases guaranteed to stall or reduce the SP from what I can see, Doc!!

Resistance points have been mentioned a couple of times. Can someone with L2 tell us what the current ones are? The price certainly seems to be struggling to push above 3.2 recently... Thanks.
