RE: DECEMBER is a Gamechanger - "Massive" China Project Update/MRPAM Sign Off!5 Dec 2024 10:23
Apologies - my post seemed to go onto the incorrect thread:
"If they drill 4 more next year and they're all rubbish then clearly we're in trouble, big trouble. But as I've said before it's hard to see why that would be the case. Petro China don't seam to have much trouble getting significant amounts of oil out or the ground so why should we?"
Forgive my technical ignorance, but what's to stop them drilling the next couple of wells *really* close to H1? We know the oil is there, clearly, and we also know that it's gushing like a good-un. Are there any limitations to how close you could/would want to drill wells next to each other? I'm guessing the pressure in the well diminishing would be a factor?
Also, on a similar point, I note that Heron 5 is closer to Heron 1 than Heron 3 is. Would it not make sense to drill this next (after H1 and H2 have been sorted)?
Thanks all.
