Apologies - my post seemed to go onto the incorrect thread:

Forgive my technical ignorance, but what's to stop them drilling the next couple of wells *really* close to H1? We know the oil is there, clearly, and we also know that it's gushing like a good-un. Are there any limitations to how close you could/would want to drill wells next to each other? I'm guessing the pressure in the well diminishing would be a factor?

Also, on a similar point, I note that Heron 5 is closer to Heron 1 than Heron 3 is. Would it not make sense to drill this next (after H1 and H2 have been sorted)?

QUESTION: Can you give us an idea of timelines for when you will announce more information?

SS: Should be quite imminent. Certainly within 6 to 8 weeks.

QUESTION: Do you have rough timescales for the Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials.

RM: Will be disclosed shortly. (Groans from some)

RM: You’ll get that answer within the next 6 to 8 weeks.

QUESTION: Do you have enough drug?

RM: Yes, plenty to cover the trial. More information will follow in 6 to 8 weeks.

Another group of investors had a chat with RM, so if anything useful was gleaned from this then please feel free to add. I do seem to remember it being said that the 6-8 weeks wait for news sounded like it was a “safe” timescale and in reality news could be a bit quicker coming, but I guess we’ll see. It would certainly be novel for Synairgen to exceed expectations on a time-line!!

I33 - just for fun then, where would you see the SP at the end of March with the following scenarios?:

1. No RNSs between now and then

2. MRPAM sign off

3. MRPAM sign off and clear plan forward (H1 uplift, H2 rework requirements known etc).

Like I say, not going to slate you if you're wrong, just interested in where you (and others if they'd like a guess) see the SP progressing over the next few months of the winter shutdown.

Blimey, talk of 150 baggers?! It'd be nice to see it heading above 1.5p again as a start point!! The MRPAM sign off (GUARANTEED this month by WOS) will hopefully start the climb...

TBT: Fair enough, I will give you an honest answer. I have several million MATD shares and have never sold any. If I do sell it will be to raise funds for other investments, not to trade. Interested to know what FUD you think I'm spreading. Unless I've missed some, my only "contentious" posts over the last few days have been:

To WOS: Asking where he got his so called "official" intel from. Anyone who's been here for more than a few months knows how he gets carried away and how reliable his "intel" can be...

To Thornogson: Replying "if only it was that simple" to his "Drill holes, flow oil" comment. Both throw-away comments to be honest and I regret how barbed the comments got afterwards as Thornogson is a poster of long-standing with some good contributions.

And to yourself when we debated about OldsCool's validity of being able to post once he'd sold his shares. I still stand by my assertion that it was useful that s/he gave us the rationale for the selling, after-all we're free to agree or disagree with the reasoning behind the decision...but lets agree to disagree on this one.

I personally don't think this is FUD, but for the sanity of the board won't argue if people think different!!

Are you keeping a record of who has sold shares? If so, why?

You weren't even close.

We drilled a hole for Gobi - no oil.

We drilled a hole for Heron 1 - oil flowing, but not as much as we'd like without modifications

We drilled a hole for Heron 2 - "very poor flow". Don't know why yet.

Yep - sounds very simple.

To save me going back through the presentation, am I right in saying that whatever modifications we need can't be done until after the winter, or are there certain modifications which could be done sooner?

Similar to current predictions, that revenue from one well would then pay for getting the next one on stream and so on. Of course, as we all know now, there was indeed a raise despite MB suggesting there were other financial options available to us.

People were generally expecting the LP fairly early in the year and that there'd be 3-4 wells on stream by Summer, plus renewables. I do take your point though, and would be nothing short of ecstatic with a 400% rise in quick time. The takeover angle is an interesting one too....that could be a welcome curveball providing it's a good deal.

As Badprophet said, the overall fundamentals have changed now, compared to previous years. Of course, this could hopefully be a good thing and we'll see more that 400% volatility in an upwards direction this coming year, but we'll see.

Yep, that would double my money, so I'd certainly be selling a large portion of my holding if/when it gets to that stage.
