They've clearly come to the conclusion that asking shareholders to stump up cash for the next trials might be best done after Christmas now.

So no point putting "RNS This Week!!" then was there? Especially as the "header". It's almost like you're trying to deliberately mis-lead. Yours is the silly talk as always.

Although any positive update would clearly be welcome, I think doing it on Christmas Eve would be a really bad time. Market only open for half a day and people more interested in Santa than small oilers thousands of miles away, so the impact of any positive RNS would be significantly dampened. If it's not this week I'd probably prefer to wait until the markets are back in full swing post the Christmas/New Year breaks. All just my opinion/thoughts and if anyone's got any reasons why Christmas Eve would actually be the best time then great, lets bring on that RNS!

Well WOS has confirmed we'll hear something this week. Or was it by the end of 2024? Anyway, they've been discussing this sales agreement for over 2 years now, so surely to God they can't drag it out much longer.

Let's see if we can reach 500 posts today having the same pointless debates that we've had many times before. WOS has told us that the RNS(s) will definitely arrive by next week, so there's not long to wait for the official line.

Over 2 weeks since MB's "we're nearly there" comment ref the sign off too. Maybe WOS is right with his "immanent" RNS(s)?!

Take a look at "WOS"s 16:36 post...a totally different style to the usual caps, exclamation marks, owls and rockets. Plus a dramatic improvement in English/Grammar. Clearly forgot which of his many accounts he was posting under...

Even more reason for Santa, sorry I meant MB, to categorically rule out another shareholder raise then.

Agree that confirming no fund raise is coming (until/unless we have got sufficient revenue coming in from existing operations and that the fund raise is only to enable us to generate further revenue quicker - H3/4 etc) would be very welcome. I think a lot of investors were annoyed by how the last fund raise came about only a few weeks after MB saying "we have other funding options available" (or words to that effect).

I want WOS to be correct on his prediction of an RNS in the next few days (no, really!), but if this is woolly and/or a raise to "just to keep the lights on while we wait for these bleeding documents to be signed" isn't ruled out then I dread to think what that would do to the SP...

Come on Mr. Buck...you know what we all want for Christmas.

Gampy, if your average is 70p now, it will remain that way even after dilution unless/until you buy more shares.

Currently, there are just over 202,000,000 shares in issue. For you to break-even you need the SP to reach 70p, or, to put it a better way you need Synairgen to achieve a market cap of £141M (0.7 x 202,000,000)

If the dilution was to say issue an additional 202,000,000 shares, for you to break even you would still need the SP to reach 70p, BUT this would mean that Synairgen would need to achieve a market cap of £282M (0.7 x 404,000,000).

So, without getting into the mechanics of how the market works (mainly because I'd probably mess up any attempt at an adequate explanation!), you still need to get to your SP of 70p to break even, but theoretically it would be harder for the price to reach this level.

I hope I've got that right and I hope it makes sense.

No argument from me on these points, but my point is that we still can't be 100% sure that news will land this month, which is what WOS continually asserts. FWIW, I wouldn't be surprised to see one this month and it would be extremely welcome if a positive one does arrive before Christmas, but the continuous "it'll definitely happen" does get tiresome as we've been there many times historically with things that are "guaranteed" to be "any day now!!" and end up taking months.

WOS - so to clarify, you've got no inside intel (fair enough) and you're basing your predictions on things that have happened over the last 3 years. So basically, you're just guessing then?

WOS - you say RNS due. Probably THIS WEEK. Then give it 10 working days just in case. Then 15 if you want it by the end of the year. I thought you had inside "intel" that it was definitely going to be this month...surely you know to more accuracy when it will land.

I think there will be an RNS sometime during 2025. And 2026. Possibly one in 2024. There you go...there's my predictions.

Gampy, here's one way of looking at it: we're all hoping for a big pharma to bid for the company at some point (possibly post successful p2 results, more likely post successful p3 results). Let's say they offer £1bn to buy the company. At current shares in issue (c200m) you'd get roughly £5/share. If there was a dilution meaning an extra 800m shares, the same £1bn takeover would only net you £1/share.

The main thing I (and most shareholders, I suspect) want to find out very soon is just how much of a dilution there will be to fund the upcoming p2 trials.
