Clearly deals have been 'on-hold' pending this assessment. I suspect the deals that were put on-hold were forecast to be concluded prior to last weeks webinar... perhaps put on-hold at the last minute pending Delta validation.

Would you sign a contract for XXM per day without assurance that the LFT your were about to purchase could detect the global dominant strain? Absolutely not (was not discussed on this BB for obvious reasons, but the drop from 280 was likely due to the global progression of the Delta and the risk associated with delay to AVCT roll out e.g. need to tweak the reagent)

Therefore this news is material and, those contract discussions that have been on-going for months, will surely now land, and land in a big way!

AVCT is now front runner not just in the UK but throughout the EU and globally.

Consider the discussion that Avacta and our named distributor Calibre will be having with potential clients.

You can continue to purchase test x, y and z however, based on performance there is 1 test that is clearly superior which is Affidx. Price is similar to all others on the market however, if you value accuracy/reliability there is really only 1 choice, Affidx.

Really will be as simple as the above - which AS alluded to during the recent webinar. Affidx is going to sell in huge numbers, just need a little more patience for big deals to be inked.

GMCC - I think it is a really positive sign that, since this partnership announcement RNS Dec 18, LG patented the invention during 2021 - thus would appear they have a breakthrough = very positive for avacta and those future milestone payments (and proof of concept for Affimers)

Having re-read the annual report I note the following Dx Commercial Risk was highlighted;

I assume based on the revised UK validation process that Avacta are now free / fully qualified bidder to the DPS tender?

If yes - I agree with all posts today - this is truly massive news!!

Possibly THE BEST Antigen test globally = deals, lots of deals!

Not matter how you want to deramp it - The Best, most sensitive LFT globally has a place in the market!

However, LFT aside, I think most have lost their heads this week and have forgotten the following;

- Affyxell - 5 months on from the $7.3m funding....
- Astrea deal now 6 months on...
- Point deal now 6 months on...
- LG Chem, Moderna, ADC, Oncosec all cooking in the background...
- AVA6000 entering clinic in weeks (huge deal)
- I speculate that there is also lots of undisclosed discussions (Affidx has shown a spot light, globally, on the Affimer platform - attracting huge attention - AS)
- Fully patented IP

Exclude the LFT and there is some serious value in the above. Add the LFT, which is ONE OF THE BEST, IF NOT THE BEST ANTIGEN LFT globally and you find unbelievable value at current MC.

From an M&A perspective, I suspect lots of potential Buyers would be very interested to secure all of the above for double/treble current MC.

Agree, it is very significant. I posted at the time it was very significant as many would have had you believe that Medusa were a joke outfit. Clearly they are not as have passed all UK GOV DD and couple this with the info AS released yesterday and the probability of some major news/volumes related to Medusa look very good.

Correct - he did move from best spike antigen to “one of, if not the, best antigen test(s) in the world”!

If you are an airline, do you settle for 2nd best or pay to secure capacity on the best ?

Hard to see how the best antigen test in the world does not sell in large volumes to airlines, governments etc

Airlines need whichever test delivers the highest sensitivity so would not be surprised to see AVCT secure global airline dominance
