That's my point. I do believ OPEC will 'manage' their end for their benefit, however I think Russia will drag their heels a bit just to make some financial headway. All in all a bit of a 'lag' as I said. On a different note, my opinion is that the FOGL BoD have either acted negligently or at the very least irresponsibly by: a. Not raising funds when sp was above 30p b. Walking in to the Bear Trap set by NBL (and possibly others). All my own opinion of course. Wjmflp

Andy, I posted my opinion a few days ago and it falls in line with this post. The only thing that worries me is that it is NOT ineptitude but a c*nning plan that was hatched a long time ago and the PI shareholders are the fall guys. Rhys, That is the whole point. If OPEC do nothing with the price of POO (via a cut in production), then the stockpilers cannot sell back in to the market and we have a 'super' oversupply. POO will crash. This may lead to OPEC producing even more crude to 'kill off' the stockpilers to protect cash flow. This, if it happens will mean extended time misery for AIM Oilies Regards Wjmflp

I have come to the opinion that oil prices will be depressed for some time to come. This is due to the Baltic Dirty Index which seems to suggest major stockpiling of crude is/has taken place owing to the exceptionally low prices. This stockpiling should lead to a serious 'lag' behind any uplift in crude oil recovery. Are we now looking at another 12 months of AIM misery for oil co's. Regards Wjmflp

Not sure what is correct but I must say your post is one of the most believable I have read. Even if wrong it gives an insight as to why and how these things could be made to happen to please BIG OIL. NBL have to pay for their shale debacles somehow in the not too distant future before shale comes back in to fashion. Wjmflp

C'est la vie. If I write off what is left - maybe it is cut off your nose to spite your face but I will feel better for it. All I ask is: 1. I am aware of all the facts (or at least as many are possible) before I make a decision. I may then take a view that is as informed as possible. 2. CPR for Zeb and others are issued in to the public domain 4. Results for Humpback are divulged clearly 5. reasons for rig problems and delays are fully explained Then at least we can vote knowing clearly and exactly what the FOGL position is and what we are actually worth. By NBL/Rig/Insurers. Where will this money go if we are merged/to as it could be substantial and worth quite a bit on the sp. Too late is the swap/merger is done RKH will get it. Wjmflp

And I include myself in this: To sit and do nothing whilst other people/companies make off with my hard earned. My opinion is that others (may) have conspired to ensure the demise of FOGL and the naivity of the BoD is staggering. Even we amateurs know not to compromise cash flow/requirements. How often have good companies gone to the wall because someone 'owes them money'. Good companies with good order books turning a profit and suddenly there is a cash call and they go to the ones who owe them and they find that they are not meeting their timescales for payment and all of a sudden a good company goes straight down the swanny. I shall be voting. If others sit around and think others will do it for them the vote will go through unchallenged. Wjmflp
