IMO The peoples exiting last night are the peoples that just do not understand the engineering & science of what is going on at the well head. They are just fleeting investors who chance their money for quick (ish) returns without understanding how wells work - especially the physics involved in removing the Frac Fluid to release the prize. They were always going to reduce flow to correct rates (see posts some weeks ago and recently regarding stability of draw down). Once the chancers are gone the sp will stabilise until hopeful lift off. All IMO wjmflp

Is always before the dawn I have 2 shares I am currently invested in. 1 is 100% in profit (88e) the other is meandering along at a loss with great prospects but when is an issue. My only heartache is AIM and the way sp's are so volatile. I will be out of both as soon as I decide I have had enough. BOD's should do much more in my opinion (on AIM) to ensure as much stability for the sp which includes stepping in to stop large swings when they are totally in th face of news voids. wjmflp looking for an out from AIM as soon as possible (and never again once out)

Will be the pressure at the well head once the FF has been removed. For me, once the 11000ft column is just gas/liquid from the reservoir, the true nature of the reservoir reveals itself to DW and crew. When this data is revealed, our team will fully know what we have - AND NOT BEFORE All else is speculation (albeit some of the geo's will have a very educated idea). Just to remove some of the nonsense: Pressure in a big balloon at 11000 feet below was 9000psi Pressure at top circa 3000psi System sealed Water (FF) column not moving Open at top of well and start removing water (ff) Now: Unless the balloon at the bottom is 'inexhaustible' (This requires un-adulturated access to an immense pressurised void with a volume significant multiples of the water/FF volume- not tiny cracks/fracs), the pressure will decline as water/frac is removed from the system The fact that there is still pressure at the top after 1.5 days bodes well IMO. Had it flatlined after 4 hours I would then be more pragmatic about the requirement for 'help' from AL. The most important thing for me is DW not bothering yet to look for hydrocarbons. This means they are doing what they planned all along and not panicking like this market. Even if they saw 'black spots' they are not panicking, they will start looking when there is continuity of shows - as they expect - WHEN THE FF HAS BEEN SUBSTANTIALLY REMOVED AND TESTING IS WORT DOING!!!!! All my own opinion wjmflp What about you garrym - not excited yet like me?

The MM's have this share under tight hold until something breaks their hold such as great/good flow for the moment wjmflp

Just to add a bit of fun into the mix: 1. Is there any residual pressure from the explosive force causing the fraccing process 2. Was the 9000 psi reservoir pressure measured or calculated 3. Was the 9000 psi stated before or after the well pipe was filled with frac fluid 4. was the 0.82 sg measured or calculated All helps in the mix Long and strong wjmflp PS If the pressure decline on flow is less than expected then I will add lots more

Just to clarify, as I said (my fault) - did not take on board that the 9000 psi was reservoir pressure but example of water tank holds true Put a tank at the bottom of an 11000 ft mountain. Seal it and pressurise to 9000 psi Connect a pipe to it from the top of the mountain and fill with fresh water open tap at top - watch flow rate Take pipe back down the mountain and watch flow increase wjmflp

Fresh water is 0.43 psi per foot 11000 ft creates 4730 psi Reservoir pressure 9000 psi Fluid flow pressure at reservoir =9000-4730 = 4270 psi less pipework pressure drop The fact that we have less showing on the guage at the to is probably due to temperature gradients/spec grav. of fluid (not fresh water) and other inconsistencies such as guage error wjmflp

Garrym No need to clarify, Hydraulics I am 'extremely comfortable with' Just need the correct data So all I need to know is what is the 9000psi (if that is the measured pressure at the bottom) other than that I am just working on the wrong data and if I am that is my mistake If you want to provide a schematic of the pipework and valve arrangements I can do precise calculations if you wish for the board (to however many decimal points peeps want) given precision on the constituents and fluids as well as pore dynamics. How much more pressure do you need to add to the 9000 psi to make the water flow out of the top ? quite simply enough to overcome the entry and exit resistance of the pipe and the 1" of pipe itself so 9000 psi + a little bit more (I suggest about 100 Pa Job done wjmflp This makes 9010 psi at the bottom However if you had 9010 at the start you would need a cap on the 1" pipe to prevent leakage/flow from the 1" pipe at the outset which is what we have and more lol

Now put a pipe on the bottom of the tank (lets just say it sees 9000 psi on a guage) and not taking into account atmospheric pressure.
