Assuming they reinstate it, I imagine it would be this years final dividend and if based on this years calendar - XD 11/4, Pay 30/5 or thereabouts. Unless they pay an early special (which I'm not placing any bets on). A long wait I'm afraid.

The Richard Levy who works for BDO and founder of VPC are two different characters according to company profiles. Plus I assume Richard Levy is US based. July monthly report out this week which will give insight into current performance.

Understand there was a piece in the Times about a possible dividend cut today. Haven't read it but picked it up on a financial website.

Re. Ingram and Levy have no idea, find it difficult to get an angle on this company although dare I say it seems to be functioning ok. RNS they put out is reassuring re Elevate. VPS doesn't seem to have a lot of followers on this board !

Agree, their outlook for the future of the business looks encouraging. I bought in early this morning. Divi is welcome in these times !

UKSA are urging Legal and General not to pay dividend as they claim company is sitting on £10 billion of bond losses. I knew they had £1 billion of bond losses but this is a new figure to me. Surprised as UKSA supports the individual investor. Have they got this wrong, has someone rattled their cage ?

Final dividend only rebased last year, is it likely they will rebase 2 years running ? Also Vod must recognise the damage it will inflict on an already battered share price plus pension and fund investors. Given future increased presence from Liberty and Virgin would a chop be sending out the right or wrong signals ? Just a contrarian view which probably carries the kiss of death !

Yes, bit of welcome news in these dire times. Been a holder on and off for years in this stock and it has always been reliable. Judging from the inactivity on this board seems a well kept secret !

I'm hoping that as it is a savings and investment company rather than insurer may help similar to SLA who have gone XD. Although who knows in these times, fingers crossed. Be nice, almost a novelty to receive a divi this year the way things are shaping up !

Interestingly the only one of the "Big 4 " payers (AV. MNG, LGEN, SLA) to see an increase in share price today is SLA who went XD yesterday. Is this approval they are paying a divi (so far) or are MNG and SLA not being lumped in with the insurers ?

According to Hargreaves Lansdown it has and has dropped correspondingly. Let's hope they pay.
