I think the board of GSF and its advisers are becoming rather hysterical. I sold out yesterday morning "if in doubt get out".

As reported today on RNS - rights issue 88% subscribed. Underwriters will endeavour to place remaining shares before taking them up themselves as agreed.

I read it that the October divi payment will be shelved in lieu of first 1.5p payment taking its place. Hope I am wrong and you're right!

I think it must be the 1st Interim XD September payable in October that has been shelved as we will receive part of the Special Dividend - I think! Bit of a b*ggers muddle. Unclear communications.

If I'm reading the chairman's statement correctly, in the light of the Special Dividend being paid towards the end of the year, no 0.75p dividend will be paid for the quarter ending 30th June (paid September). They really are going to town on chopping the dividends.

Dividend reduced to 0.75p per quarter from September '25 plus a 3p Special Dividend making 6p. Dividend will be aligned to project cashflows with opportunity for greater payments in the future. The cynic in me was correct.

The cynic in me wonders whether it will be paid in October replacing that months dividend as part of a reset. Wouldn't be surprised!

GSF have entered into an agreement to sell its investment tax credits from "Big Rock". It confirms 3p distribution once proceeds received from sale in H2 2025. It expects to distribute 2 equal payments of 1.5p per share by end of calendar year. Exact timing to be announced shortly. From RNS announcement.

Fact Sheet for June available. Proceeds from Dogfish received, capital allocation announced on the 17th July. Hope "allocation" means what it says !

An article in Sundays "Citywire" - "Stifel picks the battery storage fund that can electrify returns" compared Gresham (GRID) and Gore Street (GSF) funds. A poor article which made no mention of the earnings potential of Gore Street (GSF) from the States and concluded that GRID was the better and safer choice in the sector. Interstingly, volume today for both stocks was similar and whilst Gore Street was down Gresham was up. Could this be a contributory factor to todays drop?

Had a look through the above announcement made today by FSFL. Interesting section on consolidation within the sector. They had been looking at a proposal to do with consolidation which the board was ultimately unable to advance and discussions were terminated. I wonder if those discussions involved NESF? Any thoughts

Fact Sheet for May available. Had a very quick scan over it and felt it was a little downbeat on the renewables scene in the US. Or is that just me!

Six month to Dec '24 Trading Update. Not that brilliant.

That did occur to me too!

I would have hoped we might have had some news on the Capital Markets Event held yesterday, particularly "further insight into the assets held within the portfolio and the "prospects" for the company to create value for the shareholders and areas of focus going forward". Trumps election must be a worry as can be seen from todays fall of over 3%?

I didn't think it looked too bad, particularly the inflows. The dividend reduction (or lack of a special) was flagged up at last set of results. Quietly optimistic but that can mean the "kiss of death" from me!

Not very popular move at the moment - down 7%

From today's Times:

"Clients who entrusted their cash to Jupiter's fund management star stockpicker Ben Whitmore pulled £1.1bn net out of the business in the 3 months up to March after he announced he was leaving to set up his own firm".

Hope Jupiter find somebody as good to replace him!

Swings and roundabouts with Jupiter, could have been much worse though.
