RE: Relevance of historic price action?10 Mar 2021 19:32
Hi Legalwolf.
The short answer, from my perspective anyway, is that the Chariot of today does not even remotely resemble the Chariot of even 2 years ago. Yes, the legacy plays from yesteryear are still on the books and may (hopefully) progress and influence the share price in a positive way, but assuming Morocco plays out as expected, I’d go as far as to say they won’t be needed and will represent a mere bonus.
I think the last time the SP was above 20p (for example) was in the lead up to, and in anticipation of, the last drill. Before the drill happened, and before the run up to the drill was complete, there was a placing at 35% discount (from memory). The share price tanked to placing price, never recovered then hit 5p on a duster shortly after, before dropping to 2p. Imo the only relevance a chart can have is therefore to give an indication of volumes around those areas and possibly (at real stretch imo) some resistance and support points. I don’t see how a chart can look historically at that scenario, with what is happening now (with such a long time in between) and make a comparison.
Chartists, I’m sure, will have a different view, but FWIW, thats my tuppence worth lol.
