I’m just not sure why you, and people like you, feel the need to post on here at all SpeedFerret. You’re not invested and you add zero value in terms of research. It feels like you’re constantly at the wind up, and trying rub peoples noses in it when the price drops.

I get that it’s your prerogative to post, but it’s not a good look, and I don’t see what people like you get out of trying to be a w****r all the time? Maybe you need validation after every trade and this is your way of trying to prove to everyone you got one right (for now at least). Most of your posts are late into the evening tho, so it could just be down to drink or other substances (hence the avatar).

The big boys ARE the market. They’ll come when the risk is gone and they’ll happily pay 20p+ for the privilege.

In the meantime, more patience is required. It’s only 3.5 weeks since last news on Morocco. Anyone expecting a company changing RNS each week is going to be disappointed.
I do however think the SP will head north again after Monday, when IG are out the way.

I’m still of the opinion this is partly IG related.

The advertised spread has been massive until the last couple of days (10-20%) meaning anyone trying to close a CFD or SB would be taking an absolute spanking by closing out. MMs and IG know folk have to close on Monday at the latest (whatever the price is) so they’ve changed tack now and are just walking it down.
I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to close my last SB all month and got lucky on Wednesday morning (I think it was) when the spread narrowed and the bid popped up 10.45p for a couple of minutes. If I’d waited till now, that spread bet alone would be worth more than £1000 less.

MMs and IG know exactly what they’re doing here imo.

Whilst I agree that oil in the motor industry is looking to be “fazed out” it’s a little too early to say we are getting to a point where oil is becoming redundant. Certainly diesel/petrol requirements are on the decline (although not as quickly as many will have us believe) but even if or when all new cars made are electric, there will still be many billions on the roads that are diesel or petrol, andfor many years to come.
In addition to this, only 35% of a barrel of oil is actually used in petrol/diesel production. The rest is used for other things which are impossible (at this point at least) to find a substitute for, the most obvious being that 20% of a barrel oil is used in the production of electricity. The rest is used in other sectors like Aviation (doubt we’ll see electric planes any time soon) and petrochemicals (plastics etc).

So, Yes, Chariots oil plays may well be sold off, but let’s not kid ourselves that these aren’t valuable assets which will be highly sought after, the contents of which (assuming there are some) will be required for many many years to come.
I agree a move to renewables/ESG is the way forward, but not at any cost.

I tweeted Julian last night to acknowledge yesterday’s news as positive, but also to suggest that the market, at this point at least, appears not to appreciate it, understand the significance of it, or indeed know how to value it.
I had an attempt at a valuation yesterday, but based on the response you are all still laughing at it lol. Other attempts or comments are welcome.

My tweet to Julian was a hint that a further interview to map out the value of the deal, even at a very high level, might be useful to investors.

Carrying on from my last post, it would be interesting if anyone could work out what 10% of 500MW is worth over a year on Arica.

In the U.K. and forgive me if I’ve got this wrong ( it’s not my bag so I could be way out). If we take £50 as the cost of 1MWH (no idea if this is the same in Africa) the existing pipeline in this deal is 500MW. So 500 x 50 x 24(hrs) = £600,000 per day. Assume (for arguments sake) the mines only run 12 hours per day, so £300,000 per day revenue.
£300,000 per day x 365 = £109.5m revenue per year x 10% to Chariot = £10.95m per year revenue.
If mines run 24hrs a day you can double that to £20m revenue to Chariot.

Any thoughts? Am I miles out with this? Anyone, lol

Mitegap. Still piecing this together but at a basic level, for $90k cash and a few million shares, Chariot has effectively bought a producing asset in the renewable power industry in Africa with 500MW of power that they can sell into existing mines in Africa. They are currently in discussions with African mine operators who require everything they can produce from the solar power plant.
Add to this the contacts and reach of Adonis and Chariot in Africa and it’s easy to see how this can be scaled up quickly to feed into other mines on that continent.

Imo, the ONLY reason this hasn’t turned a great profit for AEMP to this point, is because these discussions are ongoing, and yet to be completed. Once complete, and a deal is agreed, this will be a significant producing asset.

This could and will be huge for Chariot, I just think thing today’s RNS is a bit of slow burner. When people start to realise what’s going on here, this will be a big catalyst for the share price imo.
