Indulge me Fernan, and give us your numbers assuming no early repayment penalties to Shell, and a 3 year refinance agreement for $60m on 4000 BOPD at $60 p/b.

Would you rather he hadn’t done this deal at all Fernan, and continued along the maybe/maybe not possibilities of the other assets endlessly.

I appreciate it’s been a long time coming, but it’s done now, and on the face of it it looks like an excellent deal to me, that could transform the company in time. Both AP in his Video this morning and Julian on his LinkedIn page have hinted this could be first or more such deals with Shell.

But does that not ignore the possibility of refinancing immediately the asset moves to Chariot later this year?

If Shell are repaid immediately (let’s say $60m) and that amount is financed over 3 years, surely Chariot will begin to generate income immediately?

Or maybe 1 year, considering in your original calculation you used a loan figure of $170m, and it could actually be as low as $60m?

And if they refinance that amount over 3 years, what does that do your calculations?

We wanted a producing/company making asset, and now we have one.

I’m sure the BoD could have come up with a producing asset that gave us 200 BOPD, kept the lights on and allowed us to stand still and mark time, however to secure 4000 BOPD for the next 12 years AND open up significant additional possibilities going forward with a super major for $20m, is nothing short of miraculous imo.

This is a line in the sand moment folks, I’m telling you.

This is a Cracking deal, backed by a Super Major, sets the company on a path to significant income/profit, and is potentially repeatable.
