With respect Chab, your posts really deserve nothing more than to be disparaged. They consist of little more than sarcastic and derogatory one liners (same as FfX’s contribution) towards the Company and/or the BoD.
Throwing out insults and sarcastic remarks (and going quiet in between) doesn’t really qualify you as a “critic”, it just makes you look like the trader you’ve become, ironically the very thing that FFx continually accuses me of being (which I’m not) and which you no doubt ‘recommend’ his posts for, and he yours.
I don’t really ever post first looking for an argument, or ramping, it’s normally in response to some made up nonsense, so until such times as either you or FFx post something worthwhile or worth discussing, I’ll just keep responding to your normal stuff.
Indeed BDC. I’ve been saying for months, that most, if not all decent posters have been driven from this BB by a brainless few, who offer nothing but constant negativity, repetitive idiotic sound bites and vitriol towards positive posters who have done nothing but try to share their knowledge with others.
It’s a shame, because there were some excellent posters on here.
Some will have us believe that nothing posted on these BB has any effect on the SP. I don’t believe that’s the case. If I'm alerted to a potential “new investment”, one of the first things I do, aside from some initial basic research, (and some don’t even do that) is hop on the Chat Forums and gauge shareholder sentiment. I can honestly say, if I came on to this BB for the first time and had to wade through the amount of pointless dross posts, negativity, and general accusations towards the BoD about mismanagement etc, I’d barely take a second look.
I get the frustration of many at the share price and the delays, but their lack of awareness regarding the damage they cause to their own investment is absolutely staggering. It doesn’t take much for sentiment to change (a few new investors and couple of blue days in a row can do wonders) buy nobody, and I mean NOBODY would ever invest in this company based on the comments/chat in here..
As I’ve said before, if you’ve nothing constructive to say, you really are far better just saying nothing!!

“Are you suggesting directors be happier if the SP was 4p??? It begs the Q.. because they were aware of tge true state of the likely deal months ago,”
Were they? Where did you see/read that HS? Have you been getting inside info from somewhere? Re your “4p” point. Daft statement!! All I’m saying is…… well you know what I’m saying!!
I suspect the directors buying recently is more to do with coming out of a ‘closed period’, following the signing of what looks like a great deal, and not being able to believe their luck at being able to buy at under 9p 😂
Are you sure Graham10k, cos remember you also “got out” on the 4th on January as well??
(Your post on the 4th January)
“ Blades, for the record I decided to bite the bullet and sell up at a loss again. However, the market ain't interested in stock and won't take a decent size. Tried the lot, 110k but no good. Tried 50k and no good.”
I hope you’ve not sold shares you don’t own. This isn’t the place to open a short!! 😉
You traders are always quite fortunate, you know, getting out just before the falls and all 😂
Good post Ianfer.
So it looks like those suggesting this drop was down to a distressed seller were correct. Holding 3% of a company on a CFD is risky at the best of times, but to do it on the run up to unknown/unpredictable news is down right lunacy. Covalis have massively over leveraged by the looks of it, and they (and we) are now paying a heavy price for it, albeit probably short lived for those who still holding.
I expect this to bounce from here.
