In addition, they’ve taken a company that was going nowhere, to within a year or 2 of being being a significant gas producer with most probably a $1b+ MCap AND is heading up a partnership with the Govt of Mauritania and putting together a consortium to develop what will potentially be one of the top 10 biggest Green Hydrogen projects on the planet.

Oh, and set up a cash generating Transitional Power Arm of the business in Africa.

I’d also say that, contrary to what some people may think, the level a placing is carried out at, is not (really) set by the company. Institutional Investors are not pumping money into businesses to “help those businesses grow”, they are, in fact, taking on a level of risk, and in doing so are expecting to make a substantial return.

Chariot cannot just approach a bunch of Insti’s and say “look, we’re going to need a few quid in the not too distant future, so we’ll be looking to you guys to buy some shares, but we’re waiting for our CPR to be finalised so you’re not getting to buy at these levels. You’ll need to wait till that news is out and the share price is around 40-50p, so we don’t have to dilute ourselves quite so heavily”

It’s all relative, but a drop of 0.1p (or 25% if want to be dramatic about it) is neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things, just like a rise of 0.1p (or 20%) is irrelevant too.

Oxilio are progressing 001 at no cost to us and I’d expect that to show a return at some stage, 002 is going through revised studies with the CRO after “inconsistent” (but not negative) results compared to the first study which was positive, and 004 now has a lead cocrystal selected to enter drug product development. We also have cash in the bank (however much that is) to fund us through to Q4 2023.

As disappointing as this has all been, I think our current market cap of under £2.5m (based on the current Bid price of 0.35p) pretty much values ALL of the above at nothing.
Of course this could drift lover, but at these levels, does it really matter that much what the share price is? Not for me it doesn’t, because another 25% drop from here is only 0.1p which is completely irrelevant.

Of course, if you think there’s significant (or any) downside, folks can sell and buy back cheaper if they so wish.

I think you’re confused Mitegap (if I’m reading your posts correctly). You don’t yet know that “you got what extra you asked for”, nobody does.
Just because your account shows what you extra you have asked for (and the money to pay for them has been “ring fenced”, doesn’t mean you will be getting them. If you’ve asked for an extra 10% over an above your allowance/allocation you probably will, but if you’ve been silly and asked for say “1m extra” all you’ve done is skewed the numbers.

A great result for the company tho.
