I understand all cars by January and July. My question relates to a new design. Say an OEM develops a car with a new body shape , new type of engine , new electronics . When does it need a Camera DMS ? New designs for EV s are coming thick and fast

Does this not mean that every new model launched since 7th July should have a camera dms ?

The second video contains the three further individual videos The second of these three, with a blue car on the start page shows a Zeeker fitted with Mobileye. Under " The Next level of driver assist" It shows a Zeeker fitted with Mobileye and at 4:41 you can see two sets of red flashing LEDs behind the steering wheel. They say the system is in 60,000 cars. I think left and right are flashing at the same time. Looks like one LED on each side. Could this be SEE tech?

This would make life hard for other Tier 2s.

Magna also manufacture a rearview mirror that is linked to rear cameras. Fitting DMS into the same mirror would improve rear visibility immediately behind the van and provide DMS at the same time. The same product could then be used on all vans which have solid back doors and those with windows in the rear doors. ie make dms available to the whole worldwide van market. I would suggest this would make a great improvement for van safety.

qualcomm on tuesday also rolled out two new chips, one called snapdragon ****pit elite to power dashboards and another called snapdragon ride elite for self-driving features. the company said mercedes-benz group plans to use the snapdragon elite ****pit chip in future vehicles, though the two companies did not specify when or in which vehicles the chip will appear.

On Tuesday, Go-Ahead, the biggest bus operator in the capital, with more than a quarter of the market, announced a £500m order for 1,200 UK-made zero emission buses.

According to the Department for Transport and Go-Ahead, up to 167 of these buses will come to London this year, followed by an “anticipated” 400 next year and again in 2026. The new buses will be “predominantly in London”
