Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Nvidia must be developing a plan. Qualcomm are objecting about the purchase of ARM and at the same time they are taking the BMW business from Nvidia. I doubt they will sit back and watch.
I assume the Site Managers move on after 3-4 years , like most big companies and their next placement, will in part be influenced by Safety & Environmental performance, in their current job. A tanker crash would get focus at all levels and questions would be asked. Why would the site manager risk his future not applying Global guidance ?

Question
Fleet data dropped 27% last week. If this was a system error it has not been corrected. For a company who gets paid to monitor data how does SEE think this reflects on the company ? If it was a process error, what caused the problem and when will it be corrected ?

I understand why Qualcomm would want to buy SEE 100%. I struggle with why they are the only company who gets mentioned. Why would another chip company or any other big player not want a slice of the action. If the other company pays a big price to buy SEE what does Qualcomm do with their integrated offering? If Qualcomm sell off Fleet how does automotive do further research ? Would another big chip company or Amazon or Microsoft or Apple want to Licence from Qualcomm ?
If its going to take several years to introduce DMS would you not just replace tankers with new tankers fitted with DMS by the OEM ? I doubt Shell keep tankers more than 7 years
Shell always seem to have MAN tankers! The driver in the Video even looks like the driver used by SEE. Could MAN be next ?

Any thoughts on the flashing lights in the Video around 7:10 ?

Could be good for sp
"Companies like Seeing Machines and Smart Eye already work with automakers like General Motors, Mercedes-Benz and reportedly Ford to bring camera-based driver monitoring systems to cars with ADAS, but also to address problems caused by drunk or impaired driving. The technology exists. The question is, will Tesla use it?”

An old document but the numbers are not too different.

The European Parliament requires driver monitoring technology in all new model cars, vans, trucks and buses from 2024. Euro NCAP set to mandate DMS for five-star safety ratings from 2022. (If I have got this wrong please correct. ) This must be a massive number of vehicles. Just getting the DMS specifications required could be a mega event.
Possible SEE valuation. My questions would be - 1. Why did Intel buy Mobileye and did anyone try to outbid them. 2. Why did Facebook but Whatsapp and did anyone try to outbid them. 3. Who would want to control SEE and would anyone try to outbid them.
