Didn’t see how the new factory is progressing ? ITM should sign the lease this month.

Reduction in holding is getting towards the total of notified short positions. Perhaps hopeful thinking but moving that number of shares would normally see share price drop not rise. Let’s see how tomorrow pans out. Fingers crossed

Never read anything positive in the Times re Burford and this is no different. MW position is restated but no mention of any rebuttal from Burford nor the suspicion of market manipulation by others
Burford on the other hand have seemingly done little in the last 3 months with no new independent directors appointed and nothing in respect of the listing that is supposed to happen Q1 20. Be interesting to see where this is in March next year alongside full year results

Noted in today’s RNS re the chairman that today is the AGM. Wondering if they will issue a formal statement at the meeting?

Yes but they did have 12.64% prior to this notification, presumably their position has been diluted by the shares issued this week

Meeting to approve placing scheduled for tomorrow and shares issued for tomorrow reading Wednesday I believe. Perhaps it’s oversubscribed or at least people are betting that is the case.

If they wait any longer we could have the interims at the same time. Should find out the reason for the delay, hope it’s positive but can’t help but be concerned re cash flows

Any thoughts on why the results are so late and even now they can only say it will be early October. Seems to me they are waiting for something

The Times has reported MW ongoing attack citing the Napo case. Burford did not respond but reiterated its intention to list in the US by March 2020

According to Shortracker they increased their short position to 0.99 Thursday and to 1.04 on Friday perhaps they thought MW latest efforts would have a bigger impact or conversely they know something we don’t

Reported in the Times today is still short and in profit but the spike yesterday is stinging
