Percy, that’s a bit strong, but not surprising as anyone who posts anything that could be construed as negative simply suffers abuse.

I have never shorted this nor any other equity.

I have a holding in this share having and regularly day trade with my cash float exploiting the volatility, that also being the case with ITM and Ballard as and when conditions are favourable.

My observation re short sellers and the way their game can play out comes from experience that has proven costly in the past, I don’t believe a short seller won’t take a second and third bite of the cherry when the opportunity arises to cast doubt on the value of a business.

As for my present holding I am hopeful that Ceres will flourish but will continue with a trailing stop loss sell order as nothing is for certain particularly in the carbon economy.

I believe it’s too soon to conclude the short attack is over. Any weakness in the upcoming trading statement or results may well see further action. I am invested and have been for sometime now and intend to continue to hold.

If you look into the detail of the RNS issued today it does indeed suggest JP M increased their holding on 16th, however it also notes that they had increased their holding number of shares lent by the same amount. Seems to me those shorting this share may well be getting their stock from JPM. As of 16th JPM have 4.46% of Ceres shares on loan. Don’t be fooled by shooters like Grizzly reportedly getting out too early, they may well still have interests here.
