Is this the same process that they told you they would be launching before the summer an you estimated might take 6-8 weeks? Or is this dissolution just another step in the process?

Not sure if your timeline is correct there NJames - the article in the Hill references the Megobari Act , which is present and not old.

“Mullin told The Hill that his opposition to the Megobari Act was not influenced by Frontera’s improved relations with the government. “

To me this suggests that the improved relations are very much recent.

Interesting article Chris. It suggests to me that we still have hope here, if political games are being played to keep the Georgians onside. Maybe, maybe, maybe….

For those who haven’t bothered to read it, it says that a US senator Mullin has mysteriously blocked a bill to sanction Georgian oligarchs, having previously been very much in favour of them. The article notes that he has recently received financial support from our SN. It basically insinuates that he may have done so to help out FRR.

Seemingly positive then, until of course tomorrow when we are now bound to get the final nail in the FRR coffin. GLA

No mention of Frontera in the latest Gazette (#9) and no more mentions of Frontera’s plight on the Deloitte website. Make of that as you will….

Thanks Looed and Keysersoze. I agree that I also feel that I have to keep looking at this board, but now more in hope than expectation.

Gazette number 8 for 2025 was meant to have been published yesterday (Monday 14th April), but for some unknown reason, nothing has been published yet. I’ll take another look later today. Also, nothing as yet has appeared on the Deloitte website regarding FRR’s fate.

Loped - thanks once again for your insight into the affair. One further question: do you have any idea when the liquidation may be completed?

I’ve also checked the Deloitte page for Frontera news and again, so far there’s no new update.

For how much longer I don’t know, and for reasons I don’t claim to understand, but so far, we are still somehow just about afloat.

In their last update, Deloitte said that they expected to file for the liquidation in March, and they would then let us know. I’ve checked and so far, no additional news of this having already taken place. Mind you, they do still have another week before we can say that it seems to have been delayed.
