Well, I’ve looked this evening at the Caymans link that Looed posted a week or so ago, but found nothing under “Frontera” or “Nicandros” since January 2024.

So I suppose that means we are still alive as of this evening 😀.

Thanks for the update Looed. Do you think this is a case of SN saying to Hope etc that if they give him some time, he will eventually get the deal over the line, hence this seemingly very long delay?

Well done to them.

There’s no need Looed to pick a fight with me suddenly after my 6 years of being here . Let’s call this conversation quits here now and take this no further. I’m sure we both want the same positive outcome.

i agree to didn’t say 2.5p was the price you expected, but you did consider ****nal’s suggestion of 2.5p. that was all i was saying, alongside my assertion that the company would need to have that equivalent total value for all these shenanigans to be worthwhile.

I know tsbs1 - it’s been a very long time indeed. Surely things at Deloitte would have folded by now though if we didn’t at least have a chance of coming back? And if we are fighting to come back, it can’t be for peanuts - otherwise, why bother?

A while back, around Christmas time, Looed agreed with a poster that a possible price per share might be 2.5p, and he got a bit of stick on here for suggesting it (he didn’t of course, he merely agreed that it was possible). But to go to this much effort, the company must be worth something of that order. Whether we will ever see that much money per share is a different question altogether, but if the PSA is renewed and we are still involved, then perhaps……

Five months since the winding up order….

Looed - thanks for your post. I don’t know how much you know about what is going on behind the scenes, possibly very little, possibly much more, but I suspect that you will learn of developments sooner than the rest us. For this reason, your continued presence is reassuring that we are not at the “doomed” stage just yet.

And whilst we wait, time progresses, and costs rise, and as has been said, the liquidators aren’t working for free. It seems likely that SN has dipped his hand into his pocket - by my reckoning, we are now into the 20th week since the initial winding up order. As Monti explained, we are probably waiting on the PSA: if that is extended, money will probably be found for creditors to be paid off.

After all the demonstrations and diplomatic wranglings about the foreign agents law, I’m still hoping that the Georgians will want to show they still want to have the US on their side, and one way of demonstrating this might be to come to a favourable arrangement with FRR.

You are not alone in hoping that the deal is either still being done with the creditors, or that it’s been approved and we are looking at next steps.

It’s been said before, but there’s been an awful lot of effort put in so far for this to be a duster. Whether it’s FRR that ultimately get their hands on the oil and gas is another matter. GLA

Thanks Looed for the “Hope for the best, prepare for the worst” advice. I have taken it in the spirit with which it was offered and hope indeed to get something back out of this. It has as you explained now been 4 months since the winding up, and yet still no news. With that in mind, it presumably means that SN has provided additional funds to Deloitte to keep this going and I’m assuming he would only have done so if he was fairly confident of some kind of payback. Others have offered similar advice, on the lines of “the longer this drags on, the more likely it is that a deal Is being worked through”. So I shall continue to hope for the best. GLA

If this turns out positive, none of us will care, but if after this much time, effort and pain, to end up with nothing would be hard to bear.

As I’ve said previously Looed, it’s hard to know what’s politically good or bad for FRC anymore. If the company is still fighting and eventually is allowed to continue in Georgia, then that’s enough for me. I really just want something back for all the time (and stress) I’ve been invested here. When do you think we will find out Looed?

Maybe the Georgian government will feel obliged to give the US something to keep them quiet…

Maybe a PSA to little old FRR as part of their peace offering?

Cheers Bezzy. Hopefully we’ll get some good news soon. Looed was sounding genuinely positive just before the liquidation event, so if we can get back to that point perhaps this will finally end well. Current events in Georgia however don’t look great, but who knows what’s good for FRR anymore 😀

Good to hear from you Bezzy. Is chatter on your FRR WhatsApp group generally positive or negative regarding our eventual outcome? I feel like Chris - the waiting at the moment is really painful!

Guys - at this stage, it hardly matters who’s who and what’s been said in the past. Ultimately this is out of our hands. What will be, will be. We just have to be patient and hope the gods are being generous. I wish I’d never heard of Frontera (and like Mapp, I wish I’d never heard of Aim either), but there you go. Let’s just hope that events out of sight eventually go our way. We can’t have long to wait now. So please, no more mud slinging, let’s just wait patiently to find out if we are moderately rich, or ridiculously poor.

I’d second Grayhorse’s comments Looed. I had no idea the aftershocks were still occurring. Stay safe.

For what it’s worth, I still hold out some hope here. Looed always came across as honest, and if he thinks at some point that all is lost, I think he would say so. Instead, if he suspects (or knows) that a deal is being done, he would keep quiet as long as possible to ensure this BB doesn’t wreck the deal (however likely or unlikely that is).

So would I like to have been told that our company is back to firing on all cylinders and has a PSA extension? Obviously yes. But the lack of this news does not mean it is not happening in the background. I repeat, I am still hopeful of a successful outcome for us all here.
