They have a few issues with Brockham.

If the OGA extend the licence it will be the fourth time having been extended by six months 3 times previously.

They are still waiting on the EA permission to inject waste water which is critical to any future plans. The consultation closed on May the sixth so long over the 16 weeks the EA hope to give a decision in.

Lastly if they do manage to get the EA permission they don’t have planing permission to inject water from other sites which was critical to the plan to increase pressure which in turn increases oil production.

It wasn’t a problem for him as I recall HITS…..until he sold out and called for that EGM of course!!

As you say the RNS says “scheduling” not Schedule so expect a revised timeline.

They have borrowed £12 million and drawn it down according to RNS releases. Why do you think they won’t be paying interest on it??

I’m sure the lenders would expect interest on the De-commission proportion for example.

But they gave figures of £17.1 million for the field over 4 months in the Q&A . Half to Angus of course so if they actually expected it why take the deal?

Expect a first gas delay update. If so then yes this is a very good deal for them and shareholders.

It’s very much how you read it as normal. If you believe they are still on schedule as per the Q&A answer it seems a poor decision given the amount for the 2 months they calculated they would make!

If you read it as there is likely to be a further delay then it’s actually win-win for Knowe and Angus. Just a bigger win for Knowe. ….Just more dilution for shareholders as usual.

Obviously the regulatory hurdles haven’t been dealt with as it’s stills with the one or more of the said regulators. The only incompetence I can see is that Angus knowing fully well the timescale have failed to tackle this earlier.

.2.2 Proposed New Operations
Since 2017, the processing operations at the nearby Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal (TGT) has ceased. Therefore, to ensure the produced natural gas can be exported into NTS, Angus Energy also intend to:
a) install natural gas and condensate processing facilities at SFB Site. This will indicatively include the modification to the existing first stage separator, a set of compressors, a passive dehydration system to remove water, a solid state Joule-Thomson valve allowing for a drop in pressure and temperature to remove heavy hydrocarbons, a condensate stabilisation tower, a new condensate storage unit, produced water storage, a metering and analysis skid, a fuel gas skid, an enclosed ground flare, and some associated pipework manifolding, comms and electrical ancillaries; and
b) install up to 750m of pipeline from the existing TGT entry point to the new NTS connection point which is beyond the scope of this permit variation and
c) Install power generation equipment to support the above facilities.

If you follow the 8.5 mile pipeline I refer to you will arrive at the 750metre pipeline you are referring too.
That’s not finished yet either! That was meant to take only 3 weeks but is now still not complete and a year late.

Know one is disagreeing that the EA application it won’t be passed it’s just a case of when.
There is a 16 week period following consultation in which they may pass it. The 2 other EA Angus applications relating to works indicate a significantly longer timescale.

The sidetrack as unpopular as it is was part of the FDP and formed part of the finance package requirements.

C boy. Have you actually looked at the PP submission? Slightly more than plonking a few skids down. Funnily enough it’s all in exactly the same area as they would need to carry the side track works out in!! A lot of equipment to do that.
