Agreed it will be passed, but it’s a matter of when and what conditions the EA attaches to it.
There doesn’t seem any reason now for them to be getting on with the groundwork’s other than the concern they must have that the EA will require some upgrades to the site. The reasons they gave that the civils was out to tender/didn’t have dimensions for the kit is just BS. The plant to carry out the civils is sitting exactly where it was left after they dug the bunding bank back three weeks ago. The excuse that they haven’t got the dimensions is not realistic. The equipment should all be on site by now after all!

Had a look at some pictures and it does indeed look like a workover rig. The drilling rig picture at Saltfleetby on DOD is much bigger. It’s obviously doing something as the restraining cables are set up.

Brockham EA waiting has been 7 months now and the permission for SF7 took over a year……as yo well know!

If you look at the companies own in house projection from a year ago they had may slated but we are a year and two weeks ahead of that!

I don’t think there is much doubt they are praying for the EA permission to come before the 17th so they can start the civil works. The question is why have they not got them done yet. The company excuse for this is poor in the extreme. Blaming not knowing the plant size is just plain unbelievable.
I have a hunch that they may be concerned that the EA are going to request the site is upgraded as part of the permissions. We have Balcombe to reference this when they withdrew the 1st PP application when the EA replied stating they would require an upgrade before agreeing to the PP.

They may have said that it produced 40 barrels……but the OGA figures and the company accounts don’t seem to back that up. Maybee your thinking of that one day that both Brockham and Lidsey where actually producing on the same days?…… only the water cut was around a third.
