The trouble they have here is that they managed to get the original approval via a kind of loophole being that AECOM said the original permission kind of granted them permission to turn it into a production facility. Obviously, with only six bits of kit showing on the original approved plans, the Planning officer didn't have much of an issue. The new plans as I pointed out when the CPR was published have over 30 now showing and the size of the site now truly turning into an industrial-size undertaking.
The size of the development could well now need a screening report and should be sent to the planning committee for a decision.
The new flare stack is not the one that the EA thinks so that is also going to cause issues.

This has just actually been given a death sentence as the only way they could make it (and Lidsey for that matter) commercial was to inject the Lidsey water to bring the pressure back up. Lidsey likewise just had a major setback as it would now require its own injector well to dispose of the wastewater.
