Yes c11, IMO "... what heavyweight pharmaceutical co’s make of it" is far more significant than what we as PI make of the data.

And yes while good press might increase PI interest and the therefore the share price in the meantime, it's the big pharma with the big fat chequebooks that will ultimately price this, again IMO.

This is why I wanted to know if Scancell were obliged to release relatively early stage data? Was it's main purpose to actually allow potential suitors access to the data ASAP?

Yes you'd hope the press get contacted either officially by Scancell or perhaps even those on the trial.

Although I have no idea how other companies get their trials get reported on in the press i.e. who is usually the source? The companies press office?

Now the RNS is out you'd hope info can be shared more freely?

I think it was LochinvarLass that said something along the lines of that potential suitors/partners could only officially see trial results once the RNS is released to the general public, i.e. no advance leaking.

We've had Covidity results and now early Modify data. Perhaps now we will start seeing (more) deal action.

Just an observation, similarly to the last RNS another much more positive and simpler RNS, with importantly a straight to the point title.

Also did they necessarily have to give this 8 week update? What I mean is they were they under any obligation to update the market yet RE 8 weeks? We know how slow Scancell have been in the past updating via RNS, this seems the opposite?

Again, it's probably just the happy clappy/team boom in me, but if you do a Google search for "Scancell" for the last 24 hours, it just feels like yesterdays RNS got mentioned in more news outlets than normal?

I also mentioned last week the new chair news RNS was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal, first mention of Scancell in there I believe.
