CW I thought you were joking with that kyso acronym! No doubt accurate though! I wonder if the KYSO they talk about incorporates the Scancell products?

Excellent post Chester18. "...We can only conclude that everything is being kept under wraps and these are coordinated and deliberate decisions." I really hope this is the case, otherwise not RNS'ing about AACR is another example of poor PR, another example of poor comms to investors.
It seems to me that the linkedin page has far more regular updates/chatter/activity than the Twitter page, perhaps Twitter is used primarily for major announcements only now i.e. post any RNS's.
RE EmptyEnd's post "Just on ovarian cancer, I caught a TV item on it this morning. 11 women a day die from ovarian cancer, primarily because it is often caught too late because symptoms (bloating etc) are being ignored because there is no obvious tumour near the skin surface. A working vaccine would be a game-changer for treatment options."
Another reminder of what Scancell and other bio's are trying to achieve:
Good point dalestar. Somewhat similarly I did raise the question would a prestigious conference such as this also be an ideal platform to announce partnership news?
"...I was saddened to hear the patient was very upset on learning of the sharing of data."
Wasn't the patient's issue down to a poster from here or advfn approaching her on twitter and/or tagging her in a twitter post? (Which was was bang out of order).
I think lse and advfn forums are very niche so I'm not sure us talking about it amongst ourselves was the issue? But I'm not sure about the whole story.
Edit....just to add to the end of my last post... "...just as long as no one is contacting, interfering, interacting or exposing the Macmillan poster(s)."
Point is we can be each chose how to interpret the Macmillan post, if we want to at all. If you just want to go RNS's then fine. But if others, like myself, want to look at this info that's up to them too.
Btw PaulBrains, it's interesting that you're a very new LSE member, and most of your first Sclp posts relate to trying to rain on the latest patient X update? Just IMO.
PB, I believe the this particular patients initial results which were posted on the Macmillan forum back in Nov/December were validated(?) by professor Durant at the AGM. So I don't think a) the poster is a fake and b) why this patient would make anything up. IMO.
