Also can someone summarise how far the trials will now get with Vuples investmment? FWIW, as mentioned by others, they do seem a perfect fit for Scancell.

P.S. just to add to my twitter post, very pleased RE todays news, but I guess us long term holders have had the stuffing knocked out us hence our expectations have been damaged somewhat, and Scancell saying "quite a day" seems a bit cheeky IMO when in reality the share price is still in actuality very low, especially for us long termers
.....But....yes..."definitely" a step in the right direction. It looks like the juggernaut may have turned full circle and is steaming ahead at full speed now?

I do have to say Trinity Delta seem to be very proactive when it comes to tweeting about Scancell. They were also the ones who tweeted about the financial times.

Whilst very happy to see a good rise today, i think its worth adding some balance to the much needed news/euphoria today, as us long term holders are "still" some way underwater. Best summed up by Stuart White and McBlue (posters on here?) who replied to the first tweet:

Vulpes sounding more and more impressive the more you read about them.

As good as it is to see these kind of deals it also irks me also, why does Cliff Holloway keep reiterating that big pharma need test data, when clearly the Tilos deal, and many other pre clinical deals prove otherwise?
Clearly there must be interest, are Scancell simply asking too high a price possibly?
Also, without any proper analysis a lot of these deals seem to be american/Canadian based - do we have examples of transatlantic deals?
TF's post about Astra is promising - they must be an (another) ideal suitor?
P.s. Just for fun i tried a 200k dummy buy, price creeps up to 5.662

Good spot WF, and highlights both the current big pharma aquisitions activity and the prices they are willing to pay...for pre clinical no less!

And it raises that "very" obvious question, if Tilos is worth $773m, what is Scancell worth?

(IMO, comparatively speaking, surely it's worth considerably more??)

There's also be a "1" trade here the night before an RNS, earlier this year but forget which one though.

@rw it was somewhat of a flippant comment RE topping up, I have price range I'm happy to buy at (cheaper the better obviously), but things do seem to simmering up and there's lots of (possibly immenent?) news due i.e. UK trials due to start,FDA/lND, Biontech/Chinese patent etc etc. But it is of interest as you say, about the mechanics of the article coming about and/or possibly the timing of it.

@cars and @rw - so it would have been the likes of Scancell, and the other companies mentioned that would have instigated this article? Very interesting.

Despite my moaning I'm very intrigued/looking forward to tomorrow to see the impact of the FT article...and Scancell being top billed in it too. Also very much looking forward to the rest of June also...a significant month!?
Part of me is torn however, I want the share price to either go to the moon or drop back below 5p so I can top up some more lol. I'm not sure it's going to drop below 5p this week somehow!?

But yes, it's fantastic that Scancell are in the national press again (the report could be better...but i'll move on now...promise!)
