Interesting tweet today and on a bank holiday!
Hi Redroy. Good to talk to you as well.
Thanks for the correction. You've given me plenty of information to expand on. Much appreciated.
Gents i'd ask for your comments please. I'm a big holder in EML so have researched potash and know all about the recent surge in its price. Potash undoubtedly has a big future so i'm looking to spread my exposure. What i'm unconvinced about with KP2 is the shares in issue (over 3bn) and the country (DRC). i'll admit I haven't got as far as researching the Directors as yet, but would be grateful of comments to allay my fears - or not as the case may be. What sp are you guys hoping for in he near term/long term future. Have a good weekend all.
Keeping an eye on this one and might dip my toes next week. I like the new CEO appointment as Mr Manini doesn't seem to have the skill of good investor relations. On the negative side, there's a lot of shares in issue with a few more to come I guess. The sp does seem about as low as it's going to go so hopefully only upward movement from here.
Nice post Mr Jinx. I seem to remember Charles Vaughan's comment stated we'd be above 15p this summer or by the time there'll be a fund raise. Before the beginning fo this week I didn't think that was possible, but now i'm beginning to think this could happen. When the final equity raise comes, this would be fantastic news for us as it would limit dilution. I'd always worked on 2bn shares so any less than that would be a bonus.
Interesting last hour today with a lot of large sells but the bid didn't shift. Suggests a buyer is happy to take whatever is available. Possibly also a bigger player in the mix.
Obviously the possibility EML is a bit leaky but i personally don't rely on such things.
Cbax - There's been a number of varying analyst forecasts. The most recent from Liberum was 14.8p with 24p fully diluted, however you then look at the Orior notes which quote 46p with £1.88 in a few years time when comfortably in production. Take your pick!!
Which ever way you look, EML is worth multiples from here. But then i've been saying that for years. Maybe the patience I said was required is just starting to pay off?
Audible - I don't believe the remaining funding will be made up of all debt as you quote. For one, the cost would be too expensive. To use the analogy of a mortgage to purchase a house........you might be able to get a 80% mortgage on fairly decent terms interest rate wise, but you try applying for a 100% mortgage and you'll pay through the nose.
So there will be a final equity element imo, but what the eventual %age make up will be is pure speculation.
CT - I was in HZM but cashed in to increase my holding here - each to their own I guess!
Yes in 12 months + it wold be nice for us to have moved on substantially. The markets are weird things and i've given up trying to predict anything. At the heart though EML is an excellent project with massive potential. I'm here for the long term.
CT - These are my rough figures and certainly not to be relied upon but as a general rule i'm working on in the region of a 70/30 split. So i'm expecting a debt package of circa $300m. We already have one tranche of equity so i'd expect another tranche, possibly a little higher than the first one. This would then cover the required funding of just over $400m. (i'm talking round figures rather than exact)
So yes, depending on the final strategic tranche, there will be more dilution. Again just as a personal thought, i'd be happy with eventual dilution not more than 2bn shares. I must stress these are my thoughts and might be way out from how we eventually look post funding.
EML have led us to believe we're in the final stages of funding, both debt and strategic, so maybe not too long to wait. I personally have every confidence Hayden and Co will come up with a funding package, if not strictly based on the percentages i've mentioned. Hope this helps a bit, i'm sure others will expand.
