Evening Hillview - I don't disagree with your post as I have recounted a similar opinion in my previous post. Yes the lack of communication has been far from satisfactory and quite honestly I can't see that changing in the short term. In fact i can't see things changing until there is positive news on the permit and at that point the media rounds will start. That's just my opinion on the way I think things will pan out and doesn't excuse the previous lack of communication.

Evening Chisler - Yes the ESIA situation has been at the top of all our lists for what seems to be an age. Yes i'm sure Emmerson are well aware of the criteria needed to satisfy the Moroccans, however what we are not aware of (due to lack of communication) is whether the goal posts have been moved or whether extra obstacles have been put in our path. So Emmerson are most definitely not in control of the process. We have to believe EML have done and are continuing to jump through all hoops required. So (again in the absence of clarification) they are doing all they can.

It's another argument altogether where Graham or Dr Chris could be labelled as Mr Potash. I'm not really interested in titles but I guess your comment is aimed at GC being replaced as CEO by someone "more capable"? I guess the fundamental question here is would a replacement make a better job of securing the permit? I'd argue it's a guessing game as we simply don't know how discussions have gone re securing the permit and what obstacles have been placed in front of them. So for us to oust a CEO for me is not on the cards just yet. If the board were so unhappy with the way GC has been conducting himself, then surely they will take appropriate action. Im sure Dr Gilchrist is a decent chap, but would he do a better job? I don't know.

So basically whilst i'm annoyed by the continued delays, I believe they're down to the Moroccans as opposed to any imagined incompetence of GC and the board. Happy as always to discuss 'grown up' opinions as opposed to childish rants.

Yes we are all frustrated, yes the communication could have been far better but the situation is most definitely NOT in their control. Quite the opposite in fact - the permit issue is in the 'control' of the Moroccans and no one else. So to say someone is incompetant because the permit hasn't been issued yet is puzzling. What is this opinion based on?

Yep Trev the permit is the key without a doubt. If GC is true to his word he did mention in the Q4 update that there would be "substantive updates" (in the plural). So given we've had the debt funding update, there's at least another one to come before the end of the month. That's the way I see it although of course Liberium have said H1 for updates, so take your choice. Either way we need to see something over the coming weeks

I still believe the ESIA will be forthcoming otherwise I would have sold up. To date I haven't sold a single share.

Quite honestly I have no idea what might happen tot he sp on approval or final debt package. Anything above 10p I'd be very happy and would probably see me sell a tranche to, at last, bank some profits.

Seems like we've toiled here for an eternity, so we're really due some good news. I remain positive.

Plus BTS if these figures turn out to be reality further down the road then it will limit the eventual dilution for us shareholders. Certainly better than I had originally anticipated. A little more water to pass under the bridge yet.

i think we'll have to agree to disagree Kim with our sentiments. As I said before i hope we will all profit form EML, and in the not too distant future.

You're right of course testpack3 that there hasn't been a 'water' RNS of late. But by the same token there hasn't been a negative RNS. You're also right in that i've been here for years. I have a lot invested and whilst frustrated I've seen nothing to suggest the project might fail. So with that in mind, I remain positive that the right result will come.
Kim - I accept your frustration but personally i don't believe there's any value in keep mentioning the imminent call which was nearly 2 years ago. I'm looking to the future rather than the past. I hope for all our sakes we'll get the right result soon. I really want us all to be successful

Posters are quite rightly focused on the only official channel of news, the RNS. With this in mind, could someone point me in the direction of the last negative RNS, if indeed there has been one?

Good post idg69. Like you I enjoy grown up discussion but that has been sadly lacking for a long time now. Would be nice if that changed.

Just to add to others comments AimTD that was a brilliant find and thanks for sharing.

My point exactly CT re being bought out at a knock down price. Sadly we as investors have little control over this. Just have to trust the management team to look after us if and when such negotiations happen. Most of them have a significant interest in seeing us go into production and beyond

AimTD - I've always been in favour of a buyout from whoever but only at the right price. I'd hate to see us sold off for a song after putting in years of patience with EML

I’d love to hear investor’s hopes/wishes for EML in 2023. Rightly or wrongly here’s mine.

ESIA Q1 debt funding about 2 months after permit then the start of construction later in the year. As for the sp - recent commentators are quoting 15p. That would be nice but possibly a little conservative? On the other hand I’ve been in this game long enough to realise you don’t always get what you hope/wish for.

So I’d welcome all opinions negative and positive. Happy new year all.
