TP3 - Kindly let me know where exactly I labelled you as a half wit? My now deleted post most certainly didn't say that.
If you post facts I don't agree with then I will say so. That's not being derogatory, that's surely promoting discussion?
FWIW, my opinion is that an OCP tie up RNS will come before the permit RNS
I'm simply not interested in some of the childish bickering which goes on. That's got nothing to do with EML and seems to be purely related to individual egos. I'm very happy to discuss the pros and cons of EML but wont converse with some of the half wits, who are probably not even invested here

I good listen. It made me chuckle when the Midas lady quoted the CEO as a Yorkshireman called Hayden Locke!! She did correct herself later!!
I still have a small holding but probably not for much longer. Will soon cut my losses and move on
Good post Graham C72 from yesterday showing how the media highlights any slight negativity. Yes it's a challenging time for all airlines/holiday companies but as for TUI being a basket case as some on here seem to think - that's just rubbish.
Hi DShox - Yes interesting times for potash companies. I guess one of the options re EML going forward is the buyout prospect. There must be larger entities keeping and eye on us, especially when all permits are in place. I know it's totally out of our control but I just hope we're not let go for a song. So personally I have in my mind 30p as an absolute minimum but would like a lot more than that.
On OCP, yes my thoughts are the ESIA might well be dependant on a deal with them. So possibly we might see a JV preliminary RNS followed quickly by the permit issue. With everything in place, I then think the funding will be announced. I think funding is dependant on permit issue. Of course I might be totally wrong but with EML saying they have completed all requirements, why isn't the permit being issued? I have never thought it wont be issued (i'd have sold long ago if I thought that) so to my mind the only remaining cog in the wheel is OCP. For me it's always been too far fetched that OCP won't be involved in some shape or form. Again, my thoughts only and I might be totally wrong. ATB
Matador/Dshox - I should have added I agree with your comments re a possible JV with OCP. I'm convinced that'll be the deal announced in due course. If that's the case then yes. it'll be a game changer as it'll unlock the path to the ESIA. Finance has never been an issue to me. I firmly believe that's virtually signed and sealed and will be announced once the permit is to hand. So once the dominos have fallen then we can enjoy some serious rewards.
Agree with you Minded. There was nothing bad in the RNS and it merely confirmed progress is being made. I'm not sure what some PI's want. Last year at the time the sp was 5.5p and now we're at 9p. You won't get that sort of appreciation in a bank account and certainly doesn't suggest EML is struggling. Plus we are getting quarterly updates. Maybe some would want more, but if it's just a 'progressing' update then i can't see the point. Add to this if I was any good at trading (I'm not!) then I could have made more money.
Yes we should look to the future, so there's no point in keep referring to the 'imminent' quote over a year ago which was apologised for as a mistake. FWIW I think he was naive at that time with that comment and for sure has learnt from it. I remain upbeat that things are progressing well and its just a waiting game for us all until the right news is forthcoming.
So if you're invested and making negative comments then I guess that's fair as it promotes discussion, but if you're invested then there surely has to be a positive side as well as otherwise why the hell are you invested here?
Have a good Jubilee weekend all.
@OOSM - In my view, OCP were always going to be involved in some shape or form and if it does prove to be the case then one has to view it as positive. I'm no engineer, but would their involvement help to minimise the construction time? All will imminently be revealed!!!
My view on things is very simple and has not changed at all. Ok the "imminent" call by Graham a year ago was a mistake. He admitted that, apologised and personally i've moved on from that. Since then in my view it's been at the behest of the Moroccans to guide the timeline. EML reportedly have done and continue to do all that's required for the permit to be issued.
So why hasn't it been issued? Well I firmly believe it's still in progress as the company would be obliged to have RNS'd any turning down of the permit - they haven't.
So I believe OCP will be involved in some shape or form. It's pure guesswork as to exactly how or what but I assume it'll have to be either an off-take agreement or a JV. It might also involve OCP's claims. I believe white simply when a deal can be arranged with OCP, then the permit will follow. I repeat these are only my thoughts and I might be proved wrong, but I hope not!!
As for funding - I believe this is virtually in place and again is waiting permit sign off. So in other words, the dominos will continue to fall one by one. Have a good evening all.
Ripley94. I'd like to think all decent posters will wish you well as you've taken a profit and banked it. Of course there's an awful lot more to come here over the short and long term but you have your reasons for selling and you are to be respected for that. Good luck sir.
