I think some of the newbies need to understand the Arc sp does not run away with gay ( apologies to all gays!) abandon. It'll go up a few ticks then down a few ticks. It's been doing that since God created man (sorry if that was sexist but i don't care!). The reward for all shareholders will come when's AAL take a stake in us or buy us out.......or another company if AA walk away. There's always been a seller here and probably always will be which continuously holds back the sp. You guys better get used to it and be patient. Our day will come.

Plus to add into the mix Redroy the Moroccan Government have said they'd fund up to 10% of the project. Not sure where that might fit into the equation but on the original figures that's circa $40m

Gents very much enjoying reading the various points of view over the weekend, all of which are feasible. I used similar calculations to Mr Jinx to arrive at a 20p figure but maybe this is a little too conservative. If a takeover comes in (and i hope it does!) then I don't think there's a need for the final permit to be in place if it's OCP being the other party. If some other company has its eyes on us, AAL for example, then i'm sure they'd want to see all permits in place before an offer.

We seem to be pretty stable at this sp so let's hope over the coming weeks we can see some uplift in anticipation of the final permit and funding news.

Cbax - I seem to remember the £2.97 prediction was an in house one before dilution. My 20p quote would make me an awful lot of money which is why I'd be happy with that short term (this year). If we're not taken out and go to production, then i'd expect this figure to be a lot higher.

An interesting take on things Rumbled. I agree I find it difficult to think the sp could drop much from its current levels.

Re being taken out without finance? Yes of course that could be an option but then a what price? I'm here for the long term in the hope of multiples of todays price. I believe that can happen when into production but could it happen without finance and a buyout? In my own mind, I'd be happy with 20p as a short term take out. (decent cash in hand is as good or better than waiting years)

The one thing i'd want to avoid would be vultures such as AAL buying us for a pittance, but I'd hope our management will look after its shareholders from that point of view.

You're right gents in that the environmental permit is vitally important. No financier worth their salt is going to commit cash without this final permit. However on the plus side, funding talks have been taking place for what seems an age and surely a deal must be almost in place but depending on the issue of this final permit. We can also look forward to an off-take agreement to take our potash. Gotta be OCP surely??

I do find it a nervous time as we simply have to get funded or we're in trouble as a project. I'm always the optimist and have no doubt this will all happen. So we can look forward to later in the year and the start of construction. Surely then all the hurdles will have been jumped?

Alnista please explain why you think the long term future is not a pretty one. Interested to hear your take

Quite right Happysurfer. If you were in the position knowing you'll benefit from options in the future, why would you commit your hard earned cash to buying more? It's never been an issue for me if directors buy or not. As long as they're making me money then i'm happy.

An old podcast but well worth a listen again. We really couldn't have a better man at the helm than Graham. He's arguably Mr Potash. Quite a coup to get him.

It really doesn't matter what individuals have as a holding. We all have our own limits.

I was comforted by the rising Potash price. It was commented recently in the LSE interview that Potash lags Soybean by roughly a season, and soybean is surging just now. So we should be looking at some decent margins when in production. I guess OCP though will be at a discount to the quoted figures?
