They may have simply been updating their website protocols. I wouldn't read too much into it just yet.

Just had a visit from a neighbour. An occasional acquaintance, thankfully. She was going out swimming with a friend of hers, but had to cancel as her friend has a house guest who is so unwell, she needs to go to the hospital.

In conversation it turns out the friend is a homeopath (treats herself for everything, scorns mainstream science and medical advice) and has refused the vaccine. Her house guest is suffering from - yes you guessed it - Covid. They won't call an ambulance, but will drive together to the hospital.

So, nearby I have an unvaccinated person with a covid infected house guest, travelling together to the local hospital in the same car, still wanting to arrange a trip to the local swimming pool with her friend. Completely oblivious to the damage she can cause to all around her including the all the poor people she will meet when she goes swimming!

I despair. With such selfish attitudes we will never get to grips with this virus. Beware, you may well have someone nearby with similar attitudes.

I equate this company to a junior gold miner with a high value (tier 1) discovery. The best is still in the ground and will earn out over a long period.

Yes, Covid has moved our trials to an impressive pace, but once the Covid therapeutic is in place we will have the capacity and income needed to progress trials for COPD and others. In time we will be able to prove up the viral agnostic nature (for respiratory viruses, obviously). This is added value which should't be given up lightly!

Just to put a little perspective. The drill head data is hugely powerful and valuable. It helps the geos to quickly understand what is being drilled and feeds in to the early decision making on the next drill. i.e. where to drill, deeper or shallow, Stay here or move on.

So, very useful indeed. Putting in a drill campaign and having to wait for the assays would be a long and frustrating process.

RM doesn't do short or hurried RNSs, not his style. When we do get one it will be full of useful information, Earliest (I would venture to suggest) will be tomorrow morning.

The PFS may give us a clue, but more likely in the FS itself.

For a lot of these type of questions/musings, remember that this is new mine! There are no hard and fast answers, and in many ways there is a more organic outlook.

What we do know is that NCM are moving at pace, are keen to get down to the ore, and are keen to get this moving through Telfer.

The initial Tonnage will likely be served easily using the road. As time moves on other options will be looked at, so it will be a rolling process of evaluation to evolve the ultimate efficient method(s). This will be a living, breathing mine. What we start off with (once the ore is first extracted) will not be what we will have when we reach optimum output (10 - 15 years perhaps).

Freddie, now I have no idea of the financial mechanisms that have been set up within our JV, and I am not at all interested in that level of detail - it is really boring!

But basically it is called 'net accounting'.

In ALL contractual agreements throughout my business life this was done.

I (one party to the agreement) would periodically raise an invoice showing all my costs and income which would be asking for the balance to be paid all in accordance with the agreement (assuming my side of the deal was in credit, of course).
The other party to the agreement would raise a credit note showing the amount due less costs. The net amount due would thereby be agreed and then paid.

It really is a very boring thing that account managers do daily.

It is simply a measure of costs per oz of producing the gold.

We receive our share of the margin between the price achieved (gold dore) and the AISC. The lower the AISC, the greater the margin. The higher the gold price, the greater the margin. Vice versa of course!

Copper serves as a credit back which reduces the AISC
