Is this normal? An RNS to just announce the date that results will be announced, and only a few days away?

Why not just announce the results on the day, why the need to give everyone a heads up?
Is this really an RNSable item - could they have just put something out on Twitter and a press release etc?

China have made noises about 'stabilising' commodity pricing (normally means releasing sock piles onto the market to reduce prices). Also China and Australia are having a spat over the new Nuclear sub deal with the US and UK.

Net result, miners are hit, especially those with Australian assets.

How long is it before the other explorers in the area need to shed some assets. You know, the ones without a working mine and income.

There will always be a turnover in tenements, we just need to be ready to pounce (as our team seem perfectly well capable of).

We are also pretty unique in the speed that this Hav is moving. We will likely be the tier 1 mine with the shortest time from first drill to production.

Look at NCM, they have and use debt finance. It's part of the mix for a large company....

Oh, there will be dividends for sure.

We have a CEO with a finance background who will want to tap into the institutions. There will need to be a demonstrable return to gain any funding required.

Let's say if one of the further out (Ruddal?) hits, we will need some serious funding for our own processing plant (Telfer too far away).

A good CEO would not limit his options by denying dividends. You can build a company much quicker using all the tools.
