New plant. All new kit. Flotation cells being replaced before that have even been fully commissioned. Announced quietly in an unrelated RNS. All in the middle of an emergency fund raise with shares suspended on ASX for two months now!

That was quietly hidden in the RNS... So how much are the new ones? How much was wasted on the old (only just installed) ones? Is there a refund due? If not, why not? How long for delivery / installation / testing??

Clearly, for RM and all his team (old and new), Covid and SNG's response will be a career defining moment for all of them. This is a very rare (once in 100 years???) chance to shine.

They have moved at an impressive speed and have had to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. From a standing start to get a worldwide trial up, running and almost complete within a year is an achievement in itself.

They have my support 100% and I fully believe that they will bring this home in a big way and as soon as is humanly possible.

I believe that ACTIVE-2 can use and assess outside data provided by the company.

But......

The trials are different. Our P3 is an in hospital trial whereas ACTIVE-2 is a pre hospital trial, so the data may not be relevant.

I will keep hold of my shares despite the really sensible (you know, the non deluded ones with their own agendas) telling me how silly I am.

Time will tell, as will my pension fund.

The key part being "should the Phase III clinical trial outcome be successful". In this event there will be a queue of companies/institutions keen to put up funding terms.

The leap to 'further dilution' is a bit daft! SNG's MCAP will be considerably higher in this scenario, there will be lots of competing (no dilutive) funding options available and there will likely be offers of all sorts from major pharma's.

Highly positive in my view.

The normal time for this would be counted in years, not months.

RM and his team have moved at one hell of an impressive speed. Not only that, they have been in another (US Gov sponsored) large trial in parallel. The level of engagement with FDA and focus on manufacturing point to a positive outcome here as well.

We have an impressive team here. Roll on an announcement from our US friends (ACTIV-2, of course).

Don't panic. Nothing will change - if (and it is a big 'if') NCM are bought/merged then the new entity will pick up all the rights and obligations of NCM. They won't drop HAV or any of the Paterson JVs - they are the icing on the cake that would make any deal work. So we would be in the same position, maybe with an even more proactive management moving thing forward (if you can get any more proactive than NCM currently!).

I'm with you @hydro. NCM are a target, not us. They are well run, have some impressive assets (low AISC too), have some great prospects (especially HAV) and are undervalued.

We may or may not follow (or be included), but it won't be us on our own - highly unlikely.

What is clear is that RM moves as fast as he can at every step. I'm pretty sure that as soon as there is enough data to justify it, there will be an application for EUA. This will likely happen in multiple countries too.

He may need to wait for peer review (which hopefully will also be fast tracked) before a full authorisation is applied for.

My guess is that things will move quickly from whatever date the trigger is pulled. The focus atm should be on when P3 data lands and/or the if/when ACTIV-2 moves to their P3.

It just peaked my interest a little. It may well be that there will be a set of conditions thrown up caused by Covid's effect on IFN's.

It could be an interesting area of future study for SNG. Perhaps an IFN test, followed by a course of IFN treatment to repair/replace. A possible Long Covid link.

Correction, here is an RNS issued, it just doesn't show up on here!

There is a second, a (very) late reported reduction in holding to below 10%. Reported so late, that it has no real affect to value - more recent events rule (obviously).

Thanks @Eccles. I've just had a look. Confirmed there is yet another further extension (to 7th Oct).

A shorter extension than previous ones, so maybe they are near finalising the funding picture? Who knows.

I guess we will get an RNS sometime today. Will be surprised if we don't get one.

I'm always sceptical of those that over communicate.
