Sadly in the US, there is little being done on a federal level to contain the virus. Playing Golf doesn't work too well.

Vaccines will come on stream, but their planning and leadership will work against them. The numbers in the US will go up dramatically.

At some point, in the not to distant future, the will need to throw every possible treatment at the problem without time to haggle over price.

Not a good place for them to be in!

Its easy to knock, but the home trials have a unique set of challenges. Not an easy trial to run.

As an illustration - I forget who it was, but a poster on here has an elderly relative who tested positive.
She was accepted onto the Home trial, but couldn't work through getting the video call etc working.
As she has tested positive, there is difficulty in helping her - who do you send? Any immediate family would risk transmission to themselves and other family members.
Ultimately, I believe, she had to drop the trail.

Not easy trying to 'train' someone remotely on unfamiliar technology, who is ill (with a co-morbidity, as this is what the trial looks for), feeling confused and below par. That's before you get to how to use the inhaler/nebuliser and before you teach them how to take all the observations required.

This is not an easy trial to run, I think they have done well to get as far as they can....

They already have a right of first refusal on our other Paterson targets, so don't need to do anything except wait.

So they would have 75% of HAV and 25% of the whole company - so they effectively have 81.25% of HAV (75 plus 25% of 25). On what commercial basis / logic / ROI would they want to do that?

Besides is it really wise to:

a) set up a webinar for investors
b) allow registration for the webinar
c) allow submission of questions prior to the webinar
d) prepare answers for the most pertinent questions

Then screw it all up by issuing an RNS just before, possibly nullifying most of the questions already raised!

I doubt you will see an RNS before the webinar.

There is lots of information that RM can give out in a webinar that does not need an RNS for.

Broad strategy items and expectations of when results may possibly be obtainable etc. Future plans etc.

I really don't get this obsessive behaviour over demanding an RNS. It's non stop! It seems there is only a two day wait after an RNS before some people start to request another.

If there is information that is best given out (or required to be given out) by an RNS, then the company will issue one. Simples.

They aren't nice sweeties to massage fragile egos of overstretched investors. Tesco has a large chocolate sweety isle for when you need that sugar rush.

NCM's bullish messaging on Telfer/Hav is of great interest to me.

As regards the forthcoming MRE, NCM will be largely in control of what is included - i.e. what physical drilling results will go into the calculations. Their bullish messaging would imply an equally bullish MRE. If it is on the low side, they could be shooting their messaging in the foot, n'est pas? In my opinion, we could be looking at the 7 - 10 range, unlikely to be less than 5.

But who knows.....?

@Zoros, bit of a sweeping statement "it will dent the bottom line".

The AISC will have a correlation to grades. Basically, the higher the grade, the less ore that needs to be processed for a given output. Therefore extraction, transportation and processing costs (expressed as the AISC) will be lower for the higher grades.

Also the costs to expand the processing at Telfer will likely be reasonable and acceptable. Bear in mind that all the infrastructure is there already. They have the airfield, they have the power plant and gas pipeline (I'm pretty sure!) and lots of other infrastructure. Expanding the capacity will cost a lot less than having to start afresh.

The key in all this will be the PFS and good forward planning, I'm fairly sure that NCM will want to show a good ROI as well as continuing dividend (and shareholder value) increases , year on year. So the long term plan they come up with will be key. The ROI will depend on the ultimate margin (price achieved less AISC) and volume processed. An interesting project in itself!

The small matter of adequate production, distribution and delivery. Overcoming the anti vax and safety worries will also be a challenge. The timescale to achieve a large enough, self sustaining, immunity is not short!
