RE: Welsh GGP?3 Dec 2020 16:35
All sold on the basis of extra value as the royals have their jewellery made from this gold. Basically the Welsh, Royal and rarity angle gives it the extra value.
Stands to reason, if the find and produce in quantity, the rarity value goes. If it's available to the wider market, it's less likely to be of interest to the royals any more. To mine in quantity will need lots of investment in plant and mine. Expect a long lead in time to get through all the planning and enquiries they will have to negotiate.
If they keep it small and niche, very limited upside.
I'd describe it a boutique share - go for it if you want the cachet of supplying the royals, but don't expect anything more than a reasonable market return - not a racing snake, this one.
All IMHO from Wales.
