I suppose the point is Monty, if you have 1m shares in KRS , you'll pick up your entitlement in Calidus like every one else. But if you can then sell your 1m shares in KRS at .4p and buy back later at .1p then you'll have 4m shares - and if the Togo licence gets announced thereafter you'll have 4 times the upside you would have had if you'd just sat with your 1m shares - that's how I see it anyway ?

The rush for the door should be something to see. In theory we can all sell immediately on the separation then buy back much lower as the value of the Calidus shares is transferred out from the KRS mcap . As others have pointed out, even if you just sit it out, you're essentially going to have a free go with KRS in Togo (assuming the Calidus price holds up and that's looking like a good mid/long term outcome).
But on the face of it, there's a big opportunity coming for "fastest finger first" on the day of the distribution.

Call me an old cynic Propinquity, but I'll bet a pound to a penny the Togo licence will not be announced until after the distribution of the Calidus shares. The KRS share price will go off a cliff when we separate the two shareholdings and there will be smart (Togolese?) people hoovering up shares at a fraction of their true worth. A week or two later and "bingo" licence awarded and KRS will be up and running in Togo.

Just pointing out the dilution and/or walkdown that's occurred here over the last year or two.

As a long suffering shareholder at an average of 4.8p what I'd like to see is a project by project breakdown of expected earnings along with a consolidated forecast for the next few years based on current active projects. Also the forecast costs below the EBITDA line so we can work out if we are actually going to turn a profit after all these years.
As has been said many times here by many different contributors, we need a credible Financial Director in post - is it too much to ask for a little transparency around what the board are doing with our hard earned cash?

Need to remember that the Egypt sale is from 1st January 2019 so all revenue will transfer across to UOG - if it’s 1100 boep that’s a big chunk of change in the cash out column

I see SLP released news today - their average basket price is over $1300 - not sure if this is relevant to us at all, perhaps someone with more in depth knowledge can confirm. Also quite interesting that their stated revenue for the quarter actually relates to the prior quarter’s production figures - anyway, they look like a shining example of what might happen to our share price over the next year or two.

Thanks Badger - by my calculations that'll bring in revenue of around $24m p.a. at $60 a barrel and even if we're only making $5 on a barrel that's still around $2m profit - BL also mentioned that they liked the quality of the oil asset so hopefully higher

The transaction is subject to satisfaction of customary conditions precedent including United shareholder approval, completion of the readmission of United to trading on AIM and receipt of Egyptian government approvals. The transaction is expected to complete during Q4 2019 with the effective date being 1 January 2019.

Hi Maruman- Brian Larkin, ceo of UOG, was interviewed on proactiveinvestors yesterday and clearly stated that the effective date of the transaction is 1st Jan 2019 and all revenues and cash flow will be UOG’s from that date

Virtually no volume and marked down on a couple of sells amounting to a few thousand quid - laughable but the kind of antics that scare holders into selling
