Someone is putting a lot of upward pressure on the SP nobody seems to want to sell at the present prices mm's must have a big order to fill perhaps it is Ron he must be miffed if he has turned the business round to be replaced just like that; he probably has more than enough money to play games, so this could well be happening.

If people did not want to sell the business at £80 Mil I suppose if we are subject to pressure a figure for a clean company would be considerably more! I first brought into AMS when it was about 50p now about 180p still holding, at the time Consort medical wanted to buy AMS for a very low price; I for one am very glad the business is still independent. would prefer EKF to do the same, as I am pro building profitable thriving independent businesses over a long term. This is of course only my personal opinion.

I am in at about 21p in an ISA and a little less in a trading account, the SP has moved a little today. I cannot believe that the directors would not have issued an RNS if there were any financial problems so can only assume that someone is still after buying the business, I brought this as a long term investment looking for growth over a period of time. Still looking forward to the report regarding the far east. I would be interested what future value they would put on this company?

This company was worth twice as much with bad debt cash gobbling subsidiaries all now set aside so in spite of any overhang it is worth at least as much as it was in November 2015; my opinion an excellent company now with a businessman at the helm top quality product the world is our oyster!

Directors demonstrating ability to sell the above me thinks there is more in the pipeline not just one original equipment manufacturer for the new E Band technology, others will follow suit; this share will recover nicely IMHO!

Adastra: If i read it correctly Ron is only relying on actual current cash payments for his figures, however I suppose any late payments from Mexico will be added in or will they be shown separately also is any of the debtor money due to the disposals; as this extra money on the bottom line is all for the good. It would not affect any takeover interest as the value is in the PoC; still more profit equal more value equals higher selling price!

Don't undersell the company, just because the market is currently depressed doesn't mean the business is of any less value; you just need a willing seller and a willing buyer, even better if there are two. On the 27/01/2014 the price was about 36 pence, in my opinion the share price will be between 50p and 65p by the end of the year. Ron was not happy to sell before at a low price so expect he will hold out for all the money!

Not very likely after last debacle Ron will want to take this to a point where he gets a meaningful return on both his money and expertise expect this to go a long way before a TO; but you never know stranger things have happened!

Any opinions? are the MM short of stock just wondered after viewing buys and sells.

Pontil: Fully agree it is all very well have a load of boffins in the business, but at some point the need is to separate the good ideas from the bad; Our chairman has an exceptional track record steering a straight course for the money which is after all the main reason for any commercial enterprise. METHINKS A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVE A SIMILAR UNDERSTANDING THUS THE PRICE RISE THIS MORNING, keeping fingers crossed for a good result at MEDLAB Asia!

Nothing will happen here until Giles Clarke buys the other business, so this is the person to watch any activity he is involved in may hold an answer for us; until he makes a move the only thing is to wait. From previous experience of the man whatever he does will be successful but not short term.
