@White-Wolf, My thoughts exactly. Huge buy orders are being worked every day with SYME. I posted this last week, but will again so people can understand the dynamics.
Big orders and big money are the only thing that can control a stock price. Look at the Directors buy yesterday at .7p. If a MM comes in in the morning to an order for 220m shares, that is his priority that day. If its only a sets order, that's the machines priority for the day. Orders that big can move a market. So many huge trades come through, this is just consolidation before the next move up.
Think about it, A share goes up 1000% in 2 weeks. Everyone hears about it, no one now wants to pay top price, they look at the charts, see Gaps. Then just put in a huge order at the price they think is achievable. Lets say after the rise to .8. 100's of millions of orders would have come in from more serious investors who've now spotted the opportunity. They will not put their order in above price. It will be below, the MM (AI or Human) now has to try and make a market with huge orders at prices under where it is. If no large sells come from the high price its at, the market maker then views the majority of buyers think this is worth less and will take it down to test the value the market will find the sellers to match the buyers.
It always looks like manipulation but its making a market really. The more volatile the stock price movements and order amounts, the bigger the spread the MM (machine or human) will add to cover the risk of big movements and being left with stock.
