Copper price dropping fast! This is a nightmare!!!

Not if you sell the shares, then transfer the cash, then re purchase the ITV shares. Yes will pay stamp duty and dealing charge.

I did sell ITV shares yesterday at 72.6p (17,000 of them) to use my 3k capital gains tax allowance. I will be buying them back on Monday in my ISA.

ITV will be bought out at some point and once in ISA no capital gains tax (I also currently hold 21,000 in ISA and 20,500 in SIPP)

Nice dividend while I wait!!

I’m not going to buy anymore Glencore (I have 41,400 already) but not going to sell.

At these prices Glencore is doing the right thing buying back its own shares in my opinion.

Eventually a lower share count will allow bigger dividends and the world knows a copper shortage is coming. Wish they had not bought the additional coal assets from Teck though.

Copper 5.21 per lb and Glencore 3.07 this is crazy low!!!! Yes, I know they mine a lot of coal but with copper this price surely price should rise soon

Personally I think you will get your losses back. Seems to have been well oversold. I’m down at minute ((4.6k) but bought more at 9.01 , 9.35 and 10.01p.

I’m not selling, buy back just announced, dividend looks secure and people beginning to recognise it’s in bargain territory.

Just Group so iffy that it just announced underlying profit up 34 percent. Over Doubled profits in three years (target was 5 years) and increased dividend 20percent (although still low). Not that Iffy in my world!!! Just Group will be taken out by one of the big boys.

I hope Casp do go up, i hope Casp do pay a dividend, I just got fed up with Jam tomorrow. Good luck to all Casp holders (I still hold a few thousand that I will hold till over 3p.

Just Group 10p up on my purchase in matter of hours and getting a definite dividend.

Some times is best to take the hit and move on. I don’t believe there will be a dividend and the cash they get for the shallows etc will be spend on another project (a mine) that they (Directors) are already involved in

Couldn’t sell the 154675 in a single batch had to split (50,000 and (104675) switched proceeds to Just Group (139.5p). Not selling rest yet as price of Casp gone to low. I want 3p.

I see this drop as an opportunity, I believe this has dropped to far.

Give it time and it will slowly drift up.

This price drop is great! Bought load more at 1170 p this morning. This will go back up.

Crazy drop yesterday on no news. Price will rise when USA opens and also with ex div approaching. Picked up more yesterday afternoon, just could not resist!
