The Dividend is usually 1.25 followed by a special. I believe the dividend will be cut to 60p and a second (interim) will be paid later in the year when they know how sales/the economy is going. I believe this interim dividend will also be 60p ish.
I believe and surplus will be used to buyback shares at low price. I have no problem with this, in fact I see it as a positive.

Coal down to 367 dollars per tonne. Gas price dropping, 49 LNG loaded ships in waters around or near Europe (see Times and Telegraph) waiting for gas price to rise with cold weather as European countries have large volume o gas in stock.
China situation not great.
I’m sure tomorrow’s results will be good but markets look to the future so this I believe will drop.
Glencore share price won’t crash. The company is well run, making plenty of cash, buying back shares and paying down debt.
I trade it as no stamp duty. Currently buy when it drops to about 485 sell above 495. It bounces up and down very regularly. But I trade this because I feel safe it won’t crash. If your waiting for it to get into the 460s I think you will be waiting a long time.
