Doubt it-just recently whenever the SP gets within a sniff of 160 it panics!!

Absolutely right-only 0.56% of the shares are on the shorting list so one can only assume that the MM's just don't like Man full stop and will shaft the SP at every available opportunity

Yep.Up 35% in 1 year-down 27% last 6 months-looks like it could reach your "whopping" 114p again at some stage.

It sure is-number 2 in the losers board. This share just can not retain its momentum-can only be a result of the market's view that this company is still on shaky ground. Only 8 days before we receive the latest report-not feeling too optimistic

So why the 10% drop in the SP??

Sure is!! Struggles to follow market rises in any significant fashion but is nearly always one of the leading losers when the market drops. As for "400p one day"-a pipe dream my friend but where would we be without dreams??!

FTSE All Share down less than 1% Man Group down nearly 4.5%. and number 3 in the Top ten 250 Losers. Says it all-the market has now given the thumbs down on Man for all time and beats the share price to a pulp at every available opportunity based I feel on the premise that Manny Roman and his team have had ample opportunity to turn the company round but have failed dismally. LoL to all you out there who are probably sitting on chunky paper losses, which may at some stage have to be turned into actuals when it becomes blatantly apparent that the company is headed for oblivion.

It doesn't make any difference it seems!! Blazing sun last two days and dear old Man Group down another 5.6% in that time. Let's face it, management of this company has lost it completely and thousand of shareholders have lost a lot of money due to their incompetence, which is, no doubt being rewarded with "performance related" bonuses. I'm afraid the Q3 Interim Management Statement on 15th October will bring no comfort at all, probably the reverse as they have not made any more acquisitions to bolster their sagging fortunes (and ours!!)

No need for anyone to talk down the Chinese economy-it's managing quite well without any assistance!!

The brief answer to your question is you don't!!! I have tried in the past as has our friend a few paras down this page, but obviously communicating with the people who own this company is not high on manangement's list of priorities. I

Doesn't matter which way you cut it/make soothing noises/optimistic forecasts etc etc the fact still remains this company has lost 67% of its value in 3 months calling seriously into question the original placing price and, ergo, the capabilities of the company's management, advisors and brokers. At present this share is a crock of you know what and will take a long time to come back to anywhere near its placing price

There certainly is!!For the humungous losses on Tuesday to be followed by what appeared to be a day of stabilisation, but then another 13% today is ominous to say the least. Much brandishing of bargepoles out there I think!!

Well, I hope you closed your position since you posted!! Management already issuing profit warnings and the wretched company has only been on the market a few months.Anybody getting in on the IPO has lost 60% of their original investment.Methinks questions need to be asked about the original pricing and the content of the Offer Document. Despite this the company continues to expand its branch network and the word overtrading springs to mind.I hope I'm proved wrong but at this moment this share looks like a real dog.
