Yep but after the enthusiastic climb to 176, just after Christmas, SP has had altitude sickness and, as in the past when the weather turned foul, has tottered back to base camp exhausted with an 8% fall. Frivolous I know but am not in a happy practical frame of mind whilst all these overseas chaps are mucking about with bombs, producing fragile markets, indulging in religious shenanigans etc. etc. all which is wrecking my finances and many others as well I would venture!

Me neither but anybody who hopped in Monday morning and hopped out again Friday afternoon proabably paid for Christmas with the circa 10% rise.

Yep-usual debacle-nice climb to 167p then 3% collapse in 2 hours. This is becoming a very boring daily occurrence. Would like to know who is pulling the strings and stopping us getting past the 170p post

Lots of folk who had heard of the company it seems. It's been on the go since 1957 and their 265 shops are scattered quite liberally across the country, hence the interest in the float I guess. Big day tomorrow-let's hope the news causes the shares to emulate part of the name of the company, albeit with different spelling!!

As low as the MM's want it to go I'm afraid.They are pricing in yet more bad news next Wednesday-they may be right-I can't see that the "Summer" will have brought any comfort to their sales. Why the flotation has never been investigated I do not know-it was a farce and we SI's have been shafted big time.

Don't hold your breath-the float of this company had a very dubious pedigree resulting in the SP now being at a disgraceful discount to the offer price.It foundered rapidly after the glowing prospectus sucked in thousands of investors now sitting on massive losses. The BoD should be brought to task and the probity of the flotation investigated

There has been a positive flurry of Forms 8.3 just recently and try as I might I can't fathom them apart from references to changes short and long positions. Why are these companies suddenly carrying out these manoeuvres-in anticipation of large fluctuations in the SP perhaps?

So do I and thousands like me Sovereign!! Foolishly I didn't equate it to a global Bull market which had to come to an end as it did in the Spring. The SP is now languishing with in the 160's but for how much longer? Man's track record of the last few years still hangs heavy on its fortunes and without more acquisitions to bolster its AUM difficult to see where Manny and his Merry Men go from here.

..........a far cry from 5 years ago today when the SP closed at 354p. Ah! happy days. Sigh!
