Although the return to a no debt situation is to be applauded I think the market will largely ignore it not only in view of the possible contingent liability of a large SFO fine which would negate that advantage but also the comment.....".there is a higher degree of uncertainty in the level of awards in the near-term" and the small drop in profits.

Good news about the new CEO starting to do her new broom job and, quite rightly, querying why these civil service layabouts are stringing out investigations for years. As she probably doesn't have to worry about a civil service pension she is able to view everything quite objectively.

Ah-I see-these jokers have found Petrofac guilty even before the SFO has delivered its findings. So much for innocent until proven guilty.

I see Jakeandelwood has filtered me because he disagrees with a view I expressed, and felt he had to resort to
foul language to make a point. His prerogative of course albeit offensive but "sticks and stones" et al.

Unfortunately this seems to be the modern way of dealing with such situations rather than the time honoured method
of rational discussion. In writing resort to childish tantrums and in person, only too often nowadays, shouting down the other party (witness some of the appalling scenes on TV "discussion" programmes)
